Phuket – A Russian man who was shirtless and shoeless was found walking around the Phuket International Airport in a daze, climbing onto shops, causing a public nuisance, and appearing to have mental issues. He was later briefly detained to get him assistance from friends.

The Phuket Tourist Assistance Center (TAC) reports that they were notified of the incident on Monday (December 11th). The Russian man, who according to the TAC seemed to have mental health problems, was found walking around the inside and outside of the airport disoriented, shirtless and shoeless, and acting erratically.

At one point, the Russian man, whose name was withheld for his privacy due to possible psychiatric issues, climbed onto the roof of a shop on the 4th floor of the airport which caused a scene.

Hell yeah! What do they expect with such man for president?

Quality tourist? If making a problem, why not deport back to Russia, am sure he can get work in the army. This would send a message out to all tourists, make trouble and you get deported.

Come on. It's obviously the devil's weed (or more likely crystal meth).

Possible?

Friends assisted him to his final destination??  as he "Appeared" to have missed his flight ? well did he or not?  did they get him on a flight? Did TAC check? more wonderful reporting by thepooketexpress, good to hear that TAC can now assess mental health.

he prolly dodged the draft in russia... but he also prolly would not have been accepted if he has mental issues.

question is, will he be evaluated here and allowed to stay? or will he be sent back to face the music?

quality tourists
