Prubangboy
Do you have them? Do you want them? Does she want them? Relationship expert, Cameron Diaz, says they're a must: https://edition.cnn.com/2023/12/20/health/sleep-divorce-separate-bedrooms-wellness/index.html Me: No. I miss her when I sleep alone. Popular Post Prubangboy
We def have separate spaces. The living room is very neat and minimalist. The bedroom I refer to as the world's largest handbag. If I had to live in the handbag full time, not just for Netflix and sleep there, that wouldn't work. 3 2 2

Popular Post pgrahmm
In TH = same king sized bed but an adjoining "sitting" bedroom has the wardrobes, home gym, book shelves, & big screen with a couch that opens into a bed.... So there is a "separation" of space - stuff wise = bedroom - her array of stuff...The other room is arranged my way & I spend quiet time there if the house is busy.....But, we always are together in the same bed.... Currently in the US RVing & sharing a queen sized bed.... I'm an active sleeper & she sleeps like a log so she favors her side close to the edge.... 2

Popular Post JimTripper
My old best friends parents slept in seperate bedrooms. Apparently, they were still intimate regularly, it was just the physical act of sleeping that they did seperately. Maybe they wanted to toss and turn without another body there or just wanted a whole bed to themselves. 3 1 1
GinBoy2
All I would say is beds. The bigger the bed the better. We have stayed in hotels where the beds are so small, you can't get your space. In both our homes in the US and Thailand, we do King size. MrsG is a terrible sleeper, she writhes around causing chaos. I get into bed assume the position and don't move. If I had to sleep in a bed small enough that her writhing around would bother me, I'd be in a separate bedroom too!
Popular Post GammaGlobulin
Great TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES! YES! If I ever decide to have another GF, I will INSIST on separate bedrooms. This is the most civilized way. Sleep separate and then... Use either the Kitchen or the Living Room...to conjoin, when the desire strikes. I have lived this way most of my life, when I had GFs and Wives. I am totally IN FAVOR of separate bedrooms. Separate bedrooms means that you can read in bed, whenever you want, and not worry about disturbing your partner at 3:00AM! And, if you have a very FAT Wife, you will not need to listen to her snore, either! Such freedom! Popular Post Thingamabob
Separate double beds, or separate rooms. Both work for us after 40 years. Quite ridiculous to judge the state of a relationship on this issue. Some couples will be best suited by sleeping in the same bed, others not. 1 2 3

Popular Post proton
Mrs can't get to sleep, up half the night on her phone so started separate bedrooms about a year ago. At first I did not like it but found you can have a better time farting and moving about on your own. We can get the unpleasant sex business done elsewhere without messing up my bed! 1 6

spidermike007
No. We love sleeping together. On a huge king bed, of course. And she gets cold easily, so no issues about the AC at 18. LOL. The only issue is when she has been drinking with her friends, who all seem to be like fish. Very thirsty. She snores. A good breath strip is mandatory for her, if more than 2 beers. Popular Post Stevemercer
I like peace, quiet and darkness when I sleep. My wife likes chaos, noise and light when she sleeps (TV on, phone on and lights on). The compromise is pretty obvious. 2
