On show i really liked, Tehran was scheduled to appear for a third season the other day, but I didn’t see it posted online anywhere, but I didn’t look so hard. There are some good returning series in the new year, Fargo is back, Yellowjackets, Rocco Schiavone, Surface .. Wisting has a presumably xmas themed mini series coming before the end of the year.

  • It's fiction, not a documentary.   He makes the show IMO.

Thanks @recom273. I haven't seen Yellowjackets or Surface, but Tehran, Fargo, Rocco Schiavone and Wisting are all cracking series. Looking forward to any new seasons of them.

The reviews are poor.

Don't think I'll bother.

No crime, no SYFY just acting: Sing Sing.

Link not working.

Nice one.

Each to their own.

On tgx, found what appears to be a non-cam version. Downloaded it and jumped around a bit and it looks legit.

Joan - watched first episode , good.

Joan is a British crime drama miniseries created by Anna Symon for ITV. Sophie Turner plays real-life character Joan Hannington, a figure known as "the Godmother" by certain aspects of the British criminal underworld

Conflict Finish TV series with English subtitle, very watchable. imo!

A small, Finnish seaside town is preparing to celebrate midsummer's eve. An unknown enemy arrives

Somewhere I saw mentioned a movie called "Cherry 2000" and although the reviews weren't that special, they weren't all that bad either, so I thought I'd give it a try.

It starred Melanie Griffith along with Laurence Fishburne (in a minor role) and Ben Johnson, not to mention the gorgeous Pamela Gidley!!!!

It was obviously a B-movie, and it didn't take itself too seriously, so it was easy viewing in the end.

Heads up.

Tehran has only been broadcast on Israeli KAN and the files kicking about only have Hebrew hardcoded subs .. the Apple TV release has yet to be announced - I was unaware it was an Israeli production.

Konflicti looks interesting, there only seems to be one episode (01) with English subtitles, the scene group mentioned in the filename is XME, the NetITV files only have Finnish subs.

New Aussie film out.

A feature film adaptation of Australian music legend Paul Kelly's classic song, 'How to Make Gravy'.

Thanks for the heads up @Thailand. I'll look out for those 2 series.

I'm sure it will filter down, looks a bit different, there doesn't seem to be too many Scandinavian action series about.

Try to google this

Agreed. A bunch of soldiers firing guns at each other, whoopee!

I watched it last night on my IPTV box.  Despite some great set piece action scenes, my abiding memory was of little messages (in English) appearing at the bottom of the scenes which involved wine drinking; 'Alcohol is injurious to your health'!  In one scene where our hero is being stitched, he is given a joint to dull the pain; again with a Smoking warning!

The messages must be from the country where it was pirated from. No idea where they're doing that.

Also on the torrent I downloaded, and got a chuckle out of that.   I was hoping for a sex scene, so I could get an advisory and only image would that would have stated.  "Please use a condom and be responsible" ... :cheesy:

Aside from that, G2 better than I expected, and nice twists in the end, as was slow start.  2 from the original, and aging quite well.  Chickie, now 59, and the Senator, 86 now 👍

Re-watching Boardwalk Empire, still as good as it was 14 years ago.

Worth a look if you have not seen it before.

"Boardwalk Empire is a period drama focusing on Enoch "Nucky" Thompson (based on the historical Enoch L. Johnson),[7] a political figure who rises to prominence and controls Atlantic City, New Jersey, during the Prohibition period of the 1920s and 1930s."
