Yep totally agree, that one where your living off pensions keeping to the limit for tax purposes but say bought a car here where the money came out of your online saver from back home, and have proof like in a bank statement showing total amount and more from before the end of 2023, the tax people wouldn't be able to verify its legit and the hoops they will likely make you go through to get it verified and still knock it on the head....We know how inflexible Thais can be dont we? -

Has anyone managed to file the FIRST 90 day report online?
I am currently on a retirement visa, which expired in early December. I went to the immigration office and renewed my extension (TM7) for another year. My first 90-day report following the extension was due in late December. Although it was said that this report cannot be submitted online, I decided to give it a try, and it worked! -

Who lives on 20k a month ?
So let's face it....in reality you can live in 20k per month in Asia , particularly Pattaya Aussie & UK pensioners do it in Australia and UK every month even for far less ,so if you can do it Australia why not Thailand or Vietnam? Aren't things cheaper there??? -

Check this guy out on X. One of my favorite. He's an Indian immigrant to Canada, public Libertarian who runs an annual conference and vicious critic of Indians. Scroll through his page and there's lots of stick beating videos and little quips like "South Asians have a mental problem. They cannot build a toilet but dream of occupying neighbours." His major thesis is that the West is destroying itself with 3rd world immigration and mass democracy. Very hard to disagree with the man.
