Biden Warns of a 'Nightmare' Future with Trump, Lists Reasons for Concern

Thanks for confirming my statement. Increased after the major 2008 crisis (not surprising), then decreased from 2013 thanks to Obama's policies. The decrease continued at the  beginning of Trump mandate following the same trend, then increased at the end of Trump's mandate to 11.5 in 2020. Still at 11.5 in 2022. No increase under Biden.

Hmm ... increased at the end of Trump's mandate to 11.5 in 2020...wasn't that when there was that virus? Oh yes it was.

The claim was that poverty level increased under Biden. It didn't.

Unimportant nonsense like WW3?  Wow.

Two separate posts mashed together for false effect. Naughty. Lose one point.

You cannot have it both ways, like evoking economic conditions such as economic crises when it suits you, and ignore them when it doesn't.

Just words no facts.

It did slightly and Trump's average was lower.

You just won't admit it.

Right. You mean the economy after Biden took over from covid denier Trump. Very true. Trump tanked the economy.

Covid tanked the economy. How many times do we have to hear this inane rubbish?

Average GDP growth was higher under Obama's mandates compared to Trump.

Not if you take out 2020 due to covid. Trump is 1% higher.

You need to learn how to present statistics without bias.

Run by GOP people.

Tell that to the Border Patrol union.

They are not involved with any vote.

Why is it that Republicans campaign on reducing the deficit and then, once in office, they blow it up?

Remember how Trump promised to eliminate the national debt and then generated huge deficits?

Ridiculous 11.5=11.5, not slightly higher!

Hardly false effective.  In the first post uttradit claimed he wasn't interested in "useless information" and in the second he said he doesn't worry about WW3.  Maybe you don't see the willful ignorance commonality, but I'm sure others did.

Are you suggesting that the people who are currently patrolling the border don't know what they need?

1 hour ago, nauseus said:

Not surprising if they have to tidy up enormous messes like the one Brandon & Co are continuing to create.

Are you really that ill informed about the economic performance of Republican administrations for the last forty years?

LOL. IMO the damage was done by the opposition attempting to get rid of him by using a fake dossier and a federal system weaponised against him.

He had so much BS to deal with that it's a wonder he got as much done as he did.

Tell us about that dossier.

Do you have a link that confirms that the dossier was intended as more than a compendium of rumors about Trump?

Do you really believe that the dossier was intended to be factual?

If you're going to pick cherries, try for some sweet ones.

Perhaps you've forgotten, but do you remember 2007-2008? We had a name for it. It was called the World Financial Crisis. It was the time of Synthetic CDO Squareds with CDS kickers. Obama inherited from Bush the worst Recession since the 1930s and unemployment of about 10%. Despite that Republican carnage, Obama handed off 4.8% unemployment and a growing economy to trump.  Coattails trump took credit for what Obama had set in motion.

Then the R House, R Senate and R WH enacted the massive $2 trillion tax cut, which barely achieved 3% growth in 2018 and then it fell back to 2.2% in 2019, although it did devastate the budget, a major part of the $8,400,000,000,000 added to the National Debt under trump, the subsequent cause of inflation.

Put another way, even the meager growth in GDP was dwarfed by the absolute increase in debt, kind of like the neighbor who looks flush with his new F-150, backyard grill and bassboat, but not so flush when the mailman shows up with the bill. Mr "Nobody Knows More About Debt and Bankruptcy than Me" left a massive negative inheritance for children not yet born.

2020 was a disaster, as trump messed up Covid so badly, denying its existence until March-April, and telling everyone "It's 15 people now, and soon down to 1....and poof, it's gone". He said that despite having been briefed as early as December 2019 that it was going to be bad. I wonder how many died because of his abject failure to do anything until the epidemic was going full throttle?

trump, after inheriting low UE and growth from Obama, then passed on 6.8% UE and a Recession to Biden. The Recession quickly ended, and now Biden's GDP changes are dwarfing even trump's best years. Go Joe!

Here's a chart from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, which you can find here:

Gross Domestic Product | U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA)

Now THAT is some sweet cherries!

Need not be too complicated. Vote Trump get dictator, fascism and lawlessness. Vote Biden get democracy and rule of law. It is that clear and simple.

Where do get dictator, facsim and lawlessness from? Presently under the current administration, you have a significant increase's across; crime, hate-speech, degradation of cities through soft on crime policies & excessive migrant issues, and of course high inflation. For anyone paying attention (not just on MSM), it's hard not to notice there is a problem with Biden's mental abilities. You should be concerned, not pushing him forward, because it's not that simple.

Tell us more about this increase in crime. Do you have any data to back up your opinion?

Or are you just repeating mindless talking points?

Maybe you should understand why the "data" from some sources agrees with your agenda. So try reading the entire paper for your edification https://thefederalist.com/2023/02/16/is-crime-going-down-or-have-democrat-run-cities-just-given-up-on-reporting-it/
