It's Amazing How Happy and Positive Everything Seems Since Trump Was Sworn In!
What did I get 'wrong'? Strange county.. Precisely what is so strange? You and your ilk come on this board daily and post rubbish. The really disingenuous thing about it all is that the US has been an absolute mess for a generation. The last four years have been catastrophic for most Americans. You post up your I'll informed, bombastic nonsense and raise a righteous hand in indignation. How smug. Out of the gate with the EOs the US and the world are better places. You gon' learn to today son. -

EC Secretary Faces Legal Action Over Party Dissolution Decision
File photo for reference only In a developing legal drama, Election Commission secretary-general Sawang Boonmee faces potential legal action for his decision not to recommend the dissolution of the Bhumjaithai Party over accusations of unlawful donations. This contentious decision has triggered a petition by lawyer Pattharapong Supaksorn, accusing Sawang of dereliction of duty. Last December, the Election Commission decided not to dissolve the Bhumjaithai Party after inadequate evidence in allegations of accepting illicit donations. The claims originated from former parlour tycoon Chuwit Kamolvisit, attempting to leverage sections of laws prohibiting political parties from unlawful funding sources. At the centre of this controversy is Burijarearn Construction, alleged to be controlled by proxies for ex-Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob, previously tied to Bhumjaithai Party. Saksayam was removed by the court for hidden stock holdings in the firm, conflicting with legal requirements for ministers. Pattharapong's case particularly highlights Sawang's perceived disregard for the precedent set by the 2020 dissolution of the Future Forward Party, which received illegal financial backing. He believes this oversight calls for Sawang’s prosecution, drawing attention to potential governance inconsistencies within the election body's decision-making processes. -- 2025-01-23 -

Episcopalian Bishop pleads with Trump to show mercy towards vulnerable people
The Gospel teaches mercy, consideration for the vulnerable, the poor, those struggling on the margins of society. It teaches love, kindness and tolerance. It emphasises charity and compassion. All ideals in the new testament, even (I assume) in the version produced in Donald Trump's name, although (again I assume) he will never have read it. She was doing exactly what she was supposed to do, preaching the Gospel. If the President found it to be "nasty", embarrassing and annoying then perhaps that should be good for thought? The Gospel also has quite a lot to say about hypocrites at prayer!
