I hope Thailand delivers what he's striving for. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/riyan-ruparelia-279b99172 What it demonstrates to me is how absolutely useless a degree in Economics from Reading University really is! 🙂 1 1 2 3

It's false influencing, and quite harmful to impressionable idiots who may well be naive enough to just run out here, without realising they are unable to work here easily, long term visa issues, no free health care, and the actual fact Thailand is not that cheap, etc There are quite a few young Brits on TikTok like him extolling the virtues of Thailand and reviling the UK.Mostly they are thuggish creeps but there are also decent Gap Year types who are in love with Thailand - not a wrong reaction from a young arrival - we've all been there. This particular individual is a pleasant enough young man but super naive, and I suspect a bit thick..He should lose his horrible speaking manner and stop sculpting his eyebrows.

Which Irish guy the Thairish times one or the one in Rachada who did time for trying to strangle his mrs back in Ireland? he stalks women on the street filming them and uploading to YT. These young unqualified potless vloggers have no way of staying permanently, pretending to train in Muay Thai for a year or two is about the longest they can manage. They think they can get by on 'content' income all posting the same drivel about 7/11 toasties, Icon Siam, showing condo tours or just walking around moaning about the heat. And another when he figures out that working in Thailand legally requires a little more than hanging a shingle and counting the till. At his age, I'm not sure there's an option other than employment (WP) or Elite. And I suspect it'll get even harder to fly under the radar once the Revenue Department starts tracking incoming money for tax purposes in 2024. On a related topic, did any of the "shared space" businesses ever gel where they "hire" foreigners who make their money online, keeping them legal with a WP, remitting the required taxes, etc? They seemed to be a thing before Covid, but I lost track of the trend when I was a Covid refugee and quit paying attention. Nothing new about about the Revenue Department tracking incoming money. However, Riyan Ruparilia will need to find a good job here in order to survive. Not easy. I hope he's well qualified.

Imagine the situation if all those immigrants start leaving London and come to Thailand on British passports. Millions of "Londoners" have British passport but I seriously doubt Thailand wants THOSE Brits to come on 30 day visas. Is it just me or are Thai's pretty racist against Arabs? I think so.
