You are out and about and you meet a girl that you like. You say do you want to be my gf and she says 15k a month will do?

 

Of perhaps you didn't mean to hook up, but after the first boom boom you start to fancy her and offer some support in exchange for her youth and time.

 

Seriously, I have been here quite a while and it is still a mystery to me.

From my little experience...

 

First you should decide what you want.

a) Do you want a girlfriend, maybe later wife, who wants to be with you? Or do you want someone who wants to make money?

b) Do you think about having/paying a gf for sex because then you don't have to pay each time you want sex, and she is right there?

 

In case of a, this might still involve regular payments. A typical example is a girl with a child. The child needs money to live and to go to school, etc. Are you paying the school fees? Is the child staying together with you two? Or is the child with her parents up country, and you pay for them to take care of the child, school fees, etc. You can't expect that the parents don't get any money at all. Maybe you want that she works in a regular job. If not, you have to pay. Personally, I wouldn't call that paying a salary.

 

In case of b, then it shouldn't be too difficult for you to do the math. I think in that case the question is more like: What does she have to pay herself from her salary? If she is sick, does she pay the doctor? Do you give her sick leave? Does she also do your dishes and clean your home? Is that included? Do you pay for all the food when you eat at home or go out with her? How about if she wants to see her friends or parents? Any extra payments.

 

I think for many of us the extra payments are the problematic and unexpected issue. If her brother crashes his motorcycle, do you want to contribute to a new one? How much? How will she react if you don't want to pay enough? Will she then go out and make some extra money? Do you accept that? Or do you throw her out?

Paying monthly salaries is always a bad idea. Paying on a single-serving basis is always better because then you are only paying for the amount you are actually consuming. Remember, it’s always cheaper to rent than to own.

Looks like I have done well.  According to your formula, I should be paying my GF 35,000 baht/month.

 

OTOH, I have given her a house and car. Which I live in and use periodically.

 

It's a contract of mutual support, which has worked out well for both of us.

Why do you want a gf, I have a side kick that I see when I want, she is on call, 2,500 baht, top price, but she is top shelf and of course needs the dosh.

 

gf's cost, wives cost, all depends on what you want and what you are going to get in return for 15k baht per month.

 

In my opinion, pay as you go, because by my calculations, that's 15k baht per month + the adds on.

 

For me it's the hotel room 500 baht, her fee, which I instigated 2,500, and I'm done, don't need her company, just my release once a month, or two or 3, months that is, not 3 times a month, why I got to build up me appetite, while I still service the wife 2-3 times a week as well you know......LoL

I don't like to make this personal.

Many girls work in one of two job categories. Category A is the kind of job where they make a lot of money at night by making other guys happy.

Category B are bad paid jobs like waitress, 7-11, minimum wage factory work, etc.

 

Most guys don't want that their gf works in nightlife jobs.

And for me and others it doesn't make much sense if the gf works in a job where her income is maybe 10% of what the guy makes.

If you struggle with money, ok, then it makes sense that she also works.

If you can afford that she doesn't work, then she has time to make you happy all the time and she won't be tired because of her job.
