Trump won the 2016 election via election fraud.

The release of the tape was regarded as an "October surprise", influencing public opinion in the weeks before the election. According to a 2020 study, it reduced public support for Trump. However, Trump ultimately won the 2016 election.

If the Access Hollywood tape did not cost Trump the election, there is no evidence that the Daniels brouhaha would've made the difference.

Regarding sentencing and any possible prison term, a few things might have impact on the judge's decision:

In a recent survey of dozens of cases brought by Manhattan District Attorney's Office in which falsifying business records was the most serious charge at arraignment, attorney and author Norm Eisen found that roughly one in 10 of those cases resulted in a sentence of incarceration.

" On the other hand, if you're saying he should be treated like any other defendant, we have a lot of data saying that 90% of other defendants would not get jail time in this situation."

Then he became a convicted felon for nothing.

Somehow, it seems karmic.

True. The Access Hollywood tape was a video with Trump talking doing the talking. Not Stormy.
