Well, we agree on that, 8 millions, some kind of magnitude.

"Biden did not due that",

Well yes we agree again. Biden is kind of a smaller scale liar .

Why are you talking about your Biden fixation here?

What will the judge do on June 11? Is Trump going to the monkey house?

Lots of adjectives in there.

Some people could certainly use more bad adjectives against Biden, starting with how the borders are managed....

But thanks for the try....

Why are you prattling about Biden here?

Did you hear that Trump was found guilty 34 times?

Why didn't Trump testify?

Don't like Rule of Law, eh?

Non-fascists and those who believe in democracy and the American Experiment also support the Rule of Law.

In a Third World s-hole, he would have gotten off. In a nation where ALL ARE EQUAL under the law, and NO ONE is above the law, he was found guilty by a jury of his peers.

total BS, the Dems are above the law, especially the high ups like Killton & pelosi, you just don't see it because its the side you are on.

Oh and we know Convicted Felons can appeal.

Just getting that in before the people who told us Trump would not be indicted, would not be prosecuted and would not be convicted switch to the next line in their never ending ‘Trump can not be held accountable to the law’ HS.

It is my understanding that appeals can be based on: the judge misadvising the jury on a point of law, unfair summing up by the judge, further significant evidence emerging which utterly changes the facts of the case, unfair or unduly harsh sentencing  and jury malpractice or corruption.

You can't appeal a jury verdict per se, and the juries deliberations are not public. The judge was meticulous in accomodating Mr Trump, and tolerated his pathetically incompetent defence team.

Mr Trump can of course mount an appeal, but he must show cause for one. I am Donald Trump, the Judge was biased, the Jury were all democrats and my defence team were pathetic are not grounds for appeal.

As for Trump's conviction, most Trump supporters will see this drama as politically motivated. Even people undecided might conclude they don't like their choice of President being dictated by courts/juries. I don't see this harming his chances, might even help them.

besides Incels, QAnons and the Charlottesville tikitorchers, the convicted felon probably owns 99-100% of the Neo Nazi demographic.

1 hour ago, Hanaguma said:

Perhaps. You may be right. But this, of all the indictments , is the most inoffensive and hardest for people to understand. There is no clear victim, no clear crime, etc.  It is also obviously the most political in nature.  So we shall see.

"There is no clear victim, no clear crime,"

The checker players level of intellect, rather than that of a chess player.

If the results are indirect or at one remove from the crime they can't see it.

Principally because if it was not related to the presidency of the USA, we would never heard about such stories.

Biden, oh yes Biden, he is strangely part of the contenders.

And still the run for presidency will be about choosing the lesser of a few evils....

We’ve just had it demonstrated that even a former President is not above the law.

Investigation -> Indictment -> Prosecution -> Trial -> Verdict (Guilty)

-> Sentencing.

Not:

self stroked grievance -> conspiracy theory -> non-stop whining.

"On the eve of his criminal trial, Donald Trump told reporters in Florida that he would take the stand and testify if necessary. “All I can do is tell the truth,” Trump proclaimed."

But adding that "“All I can do is tell the truth,” is straight out  of a stand up comedy hour, I must admit.

But the answer is: ''But among legal experts and even Trump’s political allies, there’s already a unanimous verdict: He would be a fool to testify."

What are their crimes?

Did HRC try to overthrow the 2016 election? DId she engage in a fake elector scheme? Did she send her supporters to stop the official VP certification of the election?

And what is/are Pelosi's crimes?

The convicted felon's crimes and alleged crimes (pending the end of his delays) are patently obvious.

Jail to the chief

That MAGA chose for the nation

Jail to the chief

The rest despise him one and all

Jail to the chief

As he pledges revolution

In self preservation

To avoid that final fall

His is the aim

To make this country weaker

This he will do

That’s our strong and firm belief

Jail to the one

Once elected as commander

Jail to the president

Jail to the chief

Jail to the chief

That MAGA chose for the nation

Jail to the chief

Found guilty by one and all

Jail to the chief

As we pledge incarceration

In proud fulfillment

Of democracy’s noble call

You seem to have forgotten how many $millions and time wasted by Republicans investigating these matters that came to zilch.

Biden and Clinton were investigated by Republicans, and were not indicted.

You seem oblivious as to what is coming for convicted felon Trump.

What did he really do? He f#$#$ someone who was not his wife and he paid to cover this up. I wonder how many politicians did that already. And how many of those other politicians were dragged to court about that and convicted?

This case is totally blown out of proportion.

He used campaign money to cover it up. And falsified accounts to do so. That is the crime

Now I’m sorry for noting that all the people says that Convicted Felon Trump would never be a convicted felon are now saying he’ll never go to prison.

He’s a man of many firsts, I don’t put him above any low point.

he didn't try to overthrow the election, so gtf with that crap. silenced from being able to speak by being removed from twitter & facebook.

if the justice in the us was in fact equal, then Pelosi should have been done for insider trading, clinton would have been done for her server, biden and he documents, he wasn't even president.

It would be unusual in a case of this sort to result in a jail sentence. But the 34 crimes he has been accused of, and swiftly and unanimously found guilty of by the jury, included trying to influence the outcome of the election by falsifying facts. If that doesn't deserve a custodial sentence then I don't know what does.

Add to this that he continues to deny any wrongdoing while claiming the trial was rigged and, even more seriously, accusing the judge of corruption, pushes him further and further towards a prison cell. even if only for a token period.

But, even so, the constitution says it is perfectly okay for a convicted criminal to lead the country. Even if it means he has to run the country from a prison cell. I wonder how many foreign leaders would come to meet him there.
