georgegeorgia
I was working with a casual employee last night sweeping the hospital grounds He was an old guy who mentioned about how he was renovating his house I told him I didn't know how to do renovation or even use a drill . That I called a Airtasker guy out to put my wooden bed together I bought from IKEA The first thing he did was laugh at me " a real man knows how to use a drill "" , he then immediately backtracked , " oh I don't mean it a bad way he said laughing Later I ignored zealous tart like this, off went my conversations with him and my ear phones on🙉🎧 But it's been on my mind all day !! Even I saw a post on ASEAN today where a guy a former NURSE in his working career was writing he was doing plumbing, renovation etc in his spare time at his house ! That made me angry😮 because I think of male nurses as feminine , so I'm thinking of he does ,should I have to know as well! The thing is I never been interested in using a drill or going plumbing , electrical renovation etc ⚒️🔨 Does a "real man " know how to use a DRILL, should we all know how to put door frames on ,how to use a SAW ,a DRILL ? Why should I bother learning? I call tradesmen out Edited June 4 by georgegeorgia 1 1

Why should I bother learning? I call tradesmen out The fact that you have no clue about how to drill anything fully explains why you found Pattaya so boring. Now you should take your new fangled drilling skills and have Bob show you the ropes on Soi 6/1. Surely it will give you a whole new perspective on Pattaya. Then you will also be able to give up your addiction of cruising up and down the underground train cars late at night inside the Manila Metro hoping to find some tranny to drill. 1 7

What is it that you achieved from this exactly? Seeing how long you could last without needing to change your under garments? You should feel blessed you didn't get locked up by the police for disturbing the peace, being a public nuisance, being a lunatic, and/or for cruising for a gay hookup. 1

Popular Post nikmar
I would think that having the ability to use basic hand tools for house renovation is far more impressive or useful than walking on a subway!! 😊 1
Popular Post BKKBike09
As the Fast Show's Swiss Toni would have said: "Using a drill is liking making love to a beautiful woman. Hold her steady and push firmly to ensure the tip goes where you want. Be careful not to go too fast without lubrication. Move your bit from side to side to widen the hole if needed. When you're finished withdraw slowly from the hole to avoid spillage". 2

More power to him if he can get his thrill walking the subway. I myself do walk back and forth for exercise. Subways are interesting if you don't wait in a gel state. Arguably more entertaining than posting here.
atpeace
I rarely use them since I fell in love with contact cement. I tell myself that it is the better option and it isn't as permanent as a drill hole and I always make mistakes. For those seldom drill users, HTF do you tell the difference between the cement and metal bits. I gave up and just go with the right size. 2

I assume you use them often enough or possibly just more intelligent. Not a concern and as stated on this thread, real men are proficient with drilsl. My less than manly self can easily find one of these creatures.

Popular Post recom273
The reason I clicked on the title is because I just came back from my building site, so this is a general observation - I spend a lot of time lifting the drill to level it when my Thai workers are drilling, they struggle to understand that they should be drilling at 90 degrees to the wall, otherwise when you put in the raw plug it does off at an angle and the thing you are trying to screw to the wall, goes off level. You cant use a drill .. neither can a lot of Thai workmen. Edited June 5 by recom273 1 1
