People who are not so obsessed with their sect leader they can start a harmless topic without throwing in an obvious reference to their US political "enemy".

Did you model this post after yourself, Susan?

Modelled after sensible people.

The ones that think I'm their best mate because I made the mistake of acknowledging them. Now I do a passable impersonation of saying sorry I'm from (insert country) and so sorry I don't speak any English whatsoever in seven languages.

The most convincing of which is Ethiopian.🤣

What's so good about Nimman? Traffic is horrendous.

Are you referring only to Sleepy Joe, or suggesting that we approach any elderly person with symptoms and call them out for dementia.

Which is why you use a motorcycle if living in Chiang Mai.

Do I detect a case of BDS?

Those with common sense, polite, who do not exploit other lesser fortunate people for fun, is a good start.

1. People who are not ignorant (for those of you who don't understand ignorance is an attitude not an educational level)

2. People whose parents taught them right from wrong and retained these values

3. People who can control themselves when provoked

4. Swiss people who don't kick doctors sitting on their garden steps

uncouth is the word that better fits your definition

A good choice of word but due to this being 2024 and not 1860 I thought to use a more modern term 😉

Those who are just normal...

- Those who integrate politely

- Those who enjoy themselves

- Those who don't moan about everything

- Those who identify that one negative facet if Thailand does not equal a generalisation of all of Thailand

- Those who develop a mutual level of respect with those around them

- Those without a superiority complex to those Thai's around them

- Those who can handle their booze without turning into violent pi!!ocks

- Those who don't think all Thai woman are hookers to be bought

I think the vast majority of people fit well with the above, it is often the voices on the fringes that should the loudest, in this case, the poorest behaved are the most visible.... Most people are not poorly behaved.

This forum is different - I'm sure most of those whose opinions are extreme who we'd assume would fail to posses or act with any of the above qualities may in fact be fare more sensible people when out and about.

There are people on this forum who it would be argued are despicable trollish pigs, the attitudes they express are such that I'd never want to be exposed to them - the reality is in real life I've never met many people like that.

Perhaps the anonymity of the forum allows people to present their inner self, or perhaps a lot of people just articulate their arguments very poorly without thinking then their ego forced them down the rabbit hole and doubling down on their flawed comments rather than admitting they'd made a mistake.

People with a sense of humour who don't have to defend their sect leader all the time.

Sure got to be hundreds if not thousands of Army vets in Pattaya.

But how many Army vets can be quiet, are polite and not angry, and can go weeks without alcohol?

5 People who know how to use search engines and weren't born yesterday
