The DEMs have limited choices:

a) They keep Biden and will lose, and many will blame Biden for the loss

b) They find someone else and still lose. Then some will say they would have won with Biden.

c) Biden will go gracefully, they will find a good new candidate in a short time, donors will support the new candidate and he/she will win.

What is the chance that c will happen? Personally, I think best cast 10%.

IMHO the DEMs will lose, and they deserve to lose.

They could have and should have looked for at least one good presidential candidate since Biden won in 2020. They didn't.

They could have prepared the nation slowly to the fact that Biden in not fit anymore. They didn't. Many DEMs still pretend there is nothing wrong with him.

IMHO Trump is a horrible choice for a president. The DEMs really didn't have to do much to find someone better. And they still failed. Now they should not be surprised that there are consequences.

The Dems should have let Trump have his second term, because IMO they are going to be decimated across the table in November. GOP will win POTUS, House and Senate in a landslide not seen since Reagan - maybe even more. Following that they will embark on a 'campaign of change' hitherto unseen in USA politics.

IMO the Dems power-brokers gave Biden the nod in 2019 as a 'reward' for a life's service to their cause - he was not supposed to win. Putting aside the result, because Biden has been a disaster and Trump has had 4 years to prepare, things are going to be very bad for the Dems. But in politics 24 hours can be a long time and who knows what will happen over the next 4 months. But as things look now, the Dems are goneski.

  • I must say, I see him quitting soon. He's an embarrassment to all Americans.

  • That was.....bad.   Even for this event, he had a pre-selected list of reporters to call on, and no doubt a pre-selected list of their questions. This is NOT a normal 'press conference' in any sense o

Biden's worst day is better than Trump's best day.

Gone ski. Very Russki.

Why should the democrats cave now?

Even if Trump is heavily favored for the presidency many voters do split tickets so there's much more hope for congress.

Does this not sum up Joe Biden's recent press conference? As the old song goes. ; He's dead but he won't lie down.' Come on Joe. You've done a good job. It's time to go out to graze.

biden is   useful as a propaganda tool, notice his deflections of taking “any” responsibility in the interview with Lester Holt!

His handlers are shrewd by letting  him be derisive in tone & rhetoric while waiting for the dems to figure a way to replace him !imop

Hope Trump doesn’t take the bait!

Biden just cancelled his Las Vegas campaign appearance due to "covid" so perhaps the fix is already in, and someone ( Harris? ) will take over. I hope it's Harris as I want to see her humiliated in November.

On the latest vdo of Biden, he looks like a very old man, and definitely not a potential POTUS.

IMO the US deserves Trump, given their wars all over the place.

Monty Python, dead parrot sketch would be more appropriate. President Joe Biden being the returned parrot.

Pet Shop Sketch

Ain't that the truth. On the latest vdo I saw he looks as if no one is at home.

Covid, smodid! Just saw live feed of Biden getting on his plane after being diagnosed with "covid" and he wasn't wearing a mask, despite passing in close proximity to military types at the boarding steps that were not wearing masks. He doesn't care about infecting others, or he's not really sick?????

He looks really, really old. Despite not being sick enough to need a stretcher, he just does not look presidential at all. The optics on this are going to be catastrophic for his campaign. Some talking head bigging up Harris- good luck with that.

If dems hadn't put in a DEI VP they would have an easier time dropping biden out. Seriously biden has more chance that Harris for sure.

If true he has retired disgracefully and without dignity like the selfish angry old demented person he is. As for his record. The Lancet estimates the deaths in Gaza at 186,000....one can quibble whether they are correct, but support for this genocide of 37000 or 186000 innocent lives murdered by Netanyahu's should never have received US support or 2000lb bombs to drop on crowd civilian areas. Israeli actions are truly disgraceful, as bad a Joe Biden's for supporting them. The one;y explanation is that the dementia has robbed him of any morals.

Even in an open convention Harris has a leg up to win.
