Popular Post snoop1130 Posted July 17 Popular Post Posted July 17 Early this morning, an odd incident occurred on Pattaya Beach, Thailand. A foreign man, outfitted in monk's attire, was found asleep on the beach. Local residents and tourists spotted the unfamiliar man dozing on the beach around 03:40 AM on July 17, 2024. They promptly informed the Pattaya police. The police arrived promptly at the scene and found the foreign man sleeping on a monk's robe. He was also dressed in a white shirt and white trousers. However, when questioned, the man wasn't able to answer coherently. After searching his monk's bag, the police found nothing unlawful. The man was then brought to the Pattaya Police Station for further investigation. Initial findings indicated that the man possessed no travel documents to Thailand or any evidence of being a formally ordained monk linked to any temple. The identity of the man remains a mystery at the time of the press release because he is still largely unable to articulate a clear response. Local resident, 46-year-old Mr. Preecha Intarasorn, reported spotting the foreign man, dressed like a monk, walking from Walking Street. The man then headed down to the beach, changed into white attire, placed a monk's robe on the beach, and lay down. Mr. Preecha expressed concern that the man was not a genuine monk. He reported the incident to the police to protect Buddhism's integrity, mainly because numerous foreign tourists witnessed the event. He appealed to the police for stringent action, reported by The Pattaya News. Photo: The Pattaya News -- 2024-07-17 Get our Daily Newsletter - Click HERE to subscribe 1 5
0ffshore360 Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Lost the address to the fancy robe party so got well inebriated in compensation? I guess the concern is more about identity than integrity ? 2

The man could well be in a desperate distressed state and need help, not being arrested 1 1 5

jacko45k Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Well the lesson is if you want to be discrete and keep your business to yourself, do not dress as a monk! They are under scrutiny wherever they go, whatever they do. 1

Popular Post ezzra Posted July 17 Popular Post Posted July 17 The item would be more interesting if it read that monk was found a sleep on a beach dressed as a foreigner... 5
soalbundy Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Not a real monk obviously....he didn't have any temple boys with him, his disguise of being drugged up didn't work.

SOTIRIOS Posted July 18 Posted July 18 ...What Is His Crime... ...Not Committing Any Crime...(?) ...Meanwhile Scroll Down The Forum Story List To See What Real Thai Monks Are Doing... ...But The Outrage Is Here...(?) ...He Likes The Color Orange...He Likes To Buy Inexpensive Garb...And He Went To Sleep On The Beach Disturbing No One ...(?)
richard_smith237 Posted July 18 Posted July 18 This has to be one of the most pathetic 'issues' I've read of... In the photo there is another person 'lying down (sleeping?) on the beach... .... so what is the issue here ??... wearing orange... Its odd that the guy 'couldn't' answer questions, but why on earth question him in the first place... This is truly pathetic - especially considering within 100m there are MC or TukTuk guys about to kick the shyte out of some foriegner who doesn't like that he was overcharged !!.. ( I know, I know... I've no proof of that etc etc yadda yadda yadda... before you pipe up LL !!).
