The Tim Walz thread.

Featured Replies

Governor Tim Walz Stolen Valor scandal explained by Thomas Behrends, the man who was deployed to Iraq in place of Walz.

1. In early 2005, a warning order went out to the southern MN’s First Battalion-125th Field Artillery to mobilize for a mission to Iraq. Walz was the unit’s highest non-commissioned officer.
2. In May of 2005, Walz retired from the guard, avoided the deployment, and ran for Congress.
3. National Guard records show his service obligation wasn’t complete until September 2007.
4. Behrends was asked to take his place.
5. “I was like well, for Pete’s sake, if this guy quits, if I say I’m not going to do it, I mean, what the h*ll kind of leadership is that?”
6. “[Walz] said he’s a retired command sergeant major. Just tooting his own horn, hanging on the coattails of people that actually are command sergeant majors that went through all the process and put all the time in.”
7. Walz has claimed for years he retired as a command sergeant major, something that is refuted by the Minnesota National Guard.
8. Behrends: “It’s stolen valor is really what it is. I don’t know of anybody else that’s done what he’s done.”

I'm not sure, but by the end of the week, he'll be the greatest American moderate in the history of the world!

  • He is the weirdo who first called Vance weird. He is a race baiter. Looks like a tool.

I don't know his specific policies but I do know that's Minnesota has been in bad decline under his leadership.

Gov Walz needs to look into the camera and explain exactly when he submitted his Army National Guard retirement application. If his application was submitted before the Minnesota Army National Guard received a warning order for a possible Iraq deploment then issue over. Otherwise he has some explaining to do.

there is also the matter of how many years he resigned for. was that then reduced as has been stated.

This forum has destroyed Walz. All credibility shot. He is toast. So much dirt on this coward. Army Reserves pretends to be a full soldier.

Your position is that you support Trump, a draft dodger, but you oppose Tim Walz, a 24 year military veteran.

I guess you aren't a big fan of the US military.

Tell me about Donald Trump's military record compared with Tim Walz.

You lie about Trump, but you support lying, stolen-valor Walz that never saw a day of combat.

Trump dodged the draft during Vietnam.

Unless he secretly served. Is that your position now?

He was the Commander and Chief for four years, and do not have to lie about his rank, unlike lying, stolen valor Walz.

When the going got tough, stolen valor Walz got going!

Vance never saw combat, and as far as I know he has not lied about his service record, unlike stolen valor Walz.

I guess he wouldn't, sat well behind the lines at his desk whilst writing reports.

Do you think when you join the Marines right out of high school, they let you pick what you get to do?

Isn't that what you did your whole life, push a pencil?

Humping couches and slagging off a large % of the swing voters doesn't really count as doing stuff.

At least he actually went to Iraq with his unit- unlike Walz. You may not remember, but Iraq was very much an insurgency type conflict -there WERE no cushy behind-the-lines jobs.

Not true. I know guys that were in an advanced supply unit. The Iraqis folded so fast that the unit didn't even find out the battle was over until the next day.

Walz is a coward. Fullstop.

So, you denigrate all service members who are not sent to war zones.

Most of them.

No.

You hate our veterans.

I guess, as an Australian, you don't have any use for our soldiers.

From the above:

"Vance claimed that Walz “dropped out” of the National Guard when he learned his battalion was slated to be deployed to Iraq. Walz retired to focus on a run for Congress two months before his unit got official word of impending deployment, though the possibility had been rumored for months.

Vance also accused Walz of having once claimed to have served in combat, when he did not. While advocating a ban on assault-style weapons, Walz said, “We can make sure that those weapons of war that I carried in war, is the only place where those weapons are at.”

The Republican National Committee has criticized Walz for misrepresenting his military rank in campaign materials. The Harris campaign website salutes Walz for “rising to the rank of Command Sergeant Major.” Walz did rise to that rank, but he retired as a master sergeant because he had not completed the requirements of a command sergeant major."

He has particularly angered veterans like me with previous claims servicing that he actually went to war. This is the cardinal sin among veterans: to claim military service that you did not do.

Nope.

He once called a gun a "weapon of war".

Regurgitating the same lie over and over makes you a liar.

The left have gone made. They want high unemployment, high inflation, open borders, weird woke stuff and cowards who run away from press conferences and service.

This is where your story fails.

If Walz got out in May 2005, when do you think he had to start the retirement process?

Are you so ignorant that you think getting out of the military takes a few seconds? Do you think Walz woke up one morning in May 2005 and then just walked out?

Here's a hint: the year that Walz initiated his retirement wasn't 2005.
