The thing is, in almost all of such cases, there is no follow up news later. We can only just guess what will happen or has happened. There are so many possibilities. In this case, maybe the attacker will settle the stuff with the couple and not face any charges. If there is no settlement, the authorities might still just give him a free pass and only deport him (with or without a certain entry ban for the future). If he goes to court, as we can all guess, there is a number of outcome possibilities.

We will probably again just guess, folks 🙂

Yeah, what happened to the Brit that killed the Russian?

Whenever I read headlines about foreigners acting badly, I dread it if they're from the US. But when I opened this story and saw the guy wearing toddlers PJs, I knew it wasn't American, as US citizens are not allowed to dress like that...at least not in public.

LMAO.....That's one of those outfits that sits on the rack so long, only a drunk person would buy it.

Or a Chinese tourist perhaps.

At least the aggressor is not British. No true Brit would wear an outfit advertising a French company. A Brit's oufit would bear the legend 'Greggs' 😀

Welcome back Confused, I missed you. 😀

Next airplane out... bye bye

bad choice.

Public disturbance;
Assaulting Female and causing bodily harm;
Assaulting elderly person and causing bodily harm c.q. attempted homocide;
Attempted bribing;
insulting Officers;
not carrying ID;
Public Drunkenness.

I would think four to six months Bangkok Hilton plus, extendible until fully paid  compensation for damages caused.

Phew....my biggest worry if I ever get fitted up for a crime.

Old saying: if you cannot do the time, don't do the crime.
