Pattaya, Thailand-The US Navy will land on September 16th to the 19th in Pattaya.

Chonburi Provincial Officials have been informed by the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the US Navy has requested permission for the MV OCEAN VALOR to dock at Pattaya Port.

It will dock on September 16th, 2024 at 08.00 and will depart the port on September 19th, 2024 at 23.59. The visit of the ship is a routine request and personnel will disembark for relaxation.

In addition to building good relations between the countries, the visit of the US Navy will also stimulate the tourism economy, generate income for Pattaya residents and bring a large amount of money into the country said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I suspect the economic impact on the city may fall below expectations when the crew of this vessel hit town.

"The exact number of sailors arriving were not announced."

That's exactly what I was searching for.

But it's a supply ship so expectations about big money coming in seem exaggerated.

Snap!

I'm going for 15-20 crew, off which some will need to stay onboard!

Lets wait for some real action!

Make an announcement when a US aircraft carrier rolls in with 5000 on board, not a supply ship.......

The girls will be ever so grateful and exhausted.

From serving drinks and food and giving massages?

Soliciting a prostitute, if those did happen to exist in Pattaya , would be a gross violation of the Uniform Code of Mulitary Justice, Article 134. and would subject the service member to severe punishments.

It's 20-30 crew and although flying under the USA flag it is not a 'NAVY' ship it does not say USNS it is a MV marine vessel. This is misinformation AN they are not navy personal in the true sense of the word.

Worst experience I ever had with these clowns staying in the same hotel when they arrived. Running up and down the corridor with taser guns zapping each other, and then banging on doors trying to find which crew member was diddling the girl they brought home from the bar.

Wish them well to have a good time outside the hotels - not ruining everybody elses stays

Well, I dont think the bars of Pattaya will be hanging out the flags.

You should have contacted their Command and so they could be disciplined.

"Service members convicted of violating Article 134 for Indecent Conduct face the maximum possible punishment of a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and five years' confinement."

So, making a donation to help a poor girl get medicine for grandmother's buffalo is ok  :wai:
