You are not wrong. His closer was magnificent and he clearly won that exchange.

The problem was the 40 minutes or so before that he was always goaded by the moderators to talk about his own record, by Harris too, and he  did so. He should have done more of what he did at the end. Point out that Harris had been in the white House for almost 4 years and done none of the things she talked about.

It’s always somebody else’s fault.

I agree, but I managed to use the time to clean my wardrobe while listening in case anything interesting came up- it didn't.

Come on we all know he is a lunatic only MAGA supporters believe him.

Who said we believe him? Prove it!

I don't believe much he says but I look at what he DID, which is why I still support him.

Actions are always the best way to judge a person. Goodness me, if we believed Biden when he said he was capable of being POTUS again he would have been on the debate and not her. She is as believable as Biden.

To be fair she is as black as Obama, and most thought he was black.

I never read anyone else pointing out only half black.

He's not the only one that feels a need to post about things they apparently know little about, apart from guessing. That includes the ones that ascribes the same motive for supporting Trump to every one of those that do. Deplorables anyone?

Anyone here believe him?

Maybe consummate commie MSM MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle does....at any rate EVERYONE is getting blasted with border immigration coverage after Trumps debate comment and I'm hearing that Trump along with Vivek, Tucker, maybe Hannity plan on doing a town hall in Springfield to discuss the ongoing migrant crisis affecting their community. It's awesome for Trump and keeps the voters apprised of the latest Kamala Harris illegal migrant crisis. Trumps a master indeed, Kamala has no clue ....reference her recent ABC News 6 interview....laughable.

Huge fail for Kamala from the first question and to the closing statement from Trump. Dismal, totally lacking in substance from dimwit kamala.

"She was simply asked, are we better off economically than we were four years ago? Less than five minutes into the contest, with 67 million people watching, she immediately dodged.

“So, I was raised as a middle-class kid,” Harris said. “I believe in the ambition, the aspirations, the dreams of the American people. And that is why I imagine and have actually a plan to build what I call an opportunity economy.”

https://townhall.com/columnists/katiepavlich/2024/09/13/stranger-danger-n2644734#:~:text=The first question,she immediately dodged

Despite fact checking Trump, erroneously at times especially on the crime stats comment by ABC, Kamala lied incessantly never once fact checked by ABC moderators. So it can be said Kamala is her own best fact checker so often illuminating, fully on display for all to see, her proclivity for outright pathological lying.

Soldier on, the cackling lying dunce.

Lol, opinions about reasons can not be compared to having an opinion about something you didn't even watch.

In his stand up slouched over comedy routine on Tuesday, the debate loser added to his verbal gems such as 'they're eating the dogs; they're eating the cats' and 'transgender operations for illegal aliens in prison', and 'post-birth abortions' by claiming "polls" say he won the debate "90 to 10...86 to 3.....60, 70, 80%", but couldn't say where he had gotten those [bald face lie] numbers minutes after the disaster finished. Other than a poll taken inside the family home (where the 'nays' would probably be Melania and Tiffany), no other poll could possibly exist that produced such numbers in his favor. Even his fav network, Fox, said he got hammered (though the loser had to subsequently used his usual  disparaging style to go after Neil Cavuto, calling him 'untalented' and on a show 'nobody watches').

His clumsy VP pick, clearly a comedian in his own right, answered a question about the Taylor Swift endorsement by actually saying, "I don't think anyone is going to be influenced by a billionaire celebrity".

Oh, the irony of Vance' statement!

Of course they will, the 9 to 17 year olds demographic perhaps....oh but wait, they can't vote. LOL. It's all desperation by the fake Kamala campaign.

You go a big fat NOTHING there, as usual.

It seems JD has shutdown Walz's obsession with painting JD as as weird....LOL

Walz seems sorely lacking in brain cognition compared to JD Vance, but nah Walz is just plain dumb, dumber than most, which is normal for Kamala and her team, and....all their supporters.

"Vance then proceeded to lay out how it is Walz who signed a bill putting feminine hygiene products in boys' bathrooms in Minnesota public schools, Walz (and Harris) who supports child drag shows and transgender surgeries for children, and Walz who has evinced a bizarre obsession with communist China. Since then, the “weird” attacks have noticeably died down."

Didn't take you long to get your facts wrong. First of all, Taylor Swift's audience isn't composed much of tweens or teenagers. If you actually listened to her music you would know it's not aimed at them.

And then there's this:

Taylor Swift drove 405,999 visitors to vote.gov in 24 hours after Kamala Harris endorsement

Taylor Swift's post endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the White House on Tuesday drove 405,999 users to visit the site vote.gov over the course of the following day, a sign of the potential effect her decision to speak out could have on November's election.

Vote.gov is run by a federal agency known as the General Services Administration, in partnership with the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. The site includes information about how to register to vote and cast a ballot, and directs users to state sites where they can register.

Meanwhile, outside the MAGA universe.... 😁

A majority of Americans who followed the debate say Kamala Harris won!

"But Harris didn’t just win the personality contest Tuesday night; she won the policy war too. Respondents who followed the debate say the vice president gave better answers than Trump on every issue except immigration. That includes abortion (53% to 30%), the Jan. 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol (49% to 28%), her own record (45% to 31%), the cost of living (45% to 39%) and even Trump’s record (44% to 36%)." 😁

should that not be classed as interfering in the election?

I think it goes under the heading ‘free speech’.

Establishing slates of false electors is an example of interfering in elections.

Maybe not, but you can bet the farm they'd be investigating Musk or Rogan if they drove that much traffic to the website.  Or maybe put them on the terror watchlist, like they did to Tulsi.  (If they haven't already for Musk or Rogan.  The difference is Musk and Rogan probably don't fly commercial like Gabbard)
