Well I totally agree with that, I'm very bored and sickened by much of contemporary culture, and I don't follow it. But you and I rejecting it means nothing in the grand scheme of things, it influences nothing.

 

Civilization marches on and whether we like it or not celebrities and big stars with huge followings on social media have a huge amount of influence.
