Cameroni, Thaibeachlover, and CallumWK are scraping the bottom of the barrel better than its ever done before. Trying to put Taylor Swift  down as an unsuccessful artist when its well know she is the biggest star in the last ten years.  Then even more mind blowing going after her for being promiscuous.

Hey Holier than Thou brothers, have a look at how poorly Taylor is doing.

Recording industryTo top it all off, IFPI, the governing body of the global music industry, announced on Wednesday that Swift was also the biggest-selling recording artist in the world last year, making her the first artist to win the award for a fourth time.

Becoming The Highest Grossing Tour EverIn eight months, Swift's Eras Tour did something no other artist has ever done: gross over $1 billion on a single tour. Pollstar reported the news in December 2023, stating that the 60+ shows she played in 2023 accumulated to 4.3 million tickets sold.

Well should could have become a nurse instead.

She supports Harris and not the criminal. Get over it.

Which makes it even sweeter that polls show that voters are more likely NOT to vote for Harris due to her endorsement.

This is what happens when people that can act or sing or play a musical instrument and gain a following think they are actually important, and even worse, their fans think they are important.

Do the names Ronald Reagan or Arnold  Shwartzenegge ring a familiar note.?

And Trump has collected 24 accusations of rape and sexual assault. Learn about consent while carrying out your smear campaign.

I don't think you understand the phallus worship of so many right wingers. To them, a penis does double duty as as a morally sanitizing wand. Or is that triple duty?

Fake polls from a fake news source. The print version of Fox propaganda network.

You know, I kinda feel sorry for Taylor Swift, when her looks fade in a few years nobody will be interested in buying her records. She'll be consigned to the dustbin of pop like Lady Gaga, another pop diva who sold her sexuality at first than pretended to be an artist, albeit with a better voice than Taylor Swift.

One only has to look at Mariah Carey today to see how sad that looks.

She can sing and perhaps write songs, and she's pretty. Doesn't take much more than that to succeed in that sort of career.

I could have worked in the Australian mines and got very rich, but I chose to work as a nurse for a pittance to help sick people instead. How many people did you help in your life? I helped thousands.

Such a sensible comment. That's why almost every young and pretty woman who can sing and write songs becomes massively famous and wealthy. Whereas so few people in the hypercompetitive field of nursing, ever even  manage to qualify as a nurse.

Good news to hear , The vibe didn’t get a good response.

“new post-debate poll from YouGov released Saturday found that 8% of voters said the pop superstar’s nod is either “somewhat” or “much more likely” to convince them to cast their ballot for the Democrat”.

“ a whopping 20% said they are “somewhat” or “much less likely” to vote for former President Donald Trump’s opponent now that Swift has spoken”.

https://nypost.com/2024/09/14/us-news/more-voters-to-vote-against-harris-than-for-after-swift-endorsement-poll/

Both these numbers are soft and relatively irrelevant (and badly reported) numbers...  Is that 8% or 20% now going from "not voting for x" to "really not voting for x"... and is that broken down by states that are potentially in play (states that are not in play or have no chance of flipping are also irrelevant).  I highly doubt those numbers indicate anything... just useful for playing a game in the media.    The question is - those hundreds of thousands of (likely mostly young women) that she has motivated to get registered to vote, actually going to go to the polls.  There is a reason why the GOP is actively trying to make sure abortion questions from state ballots, because these newly registered voters in potentially swing states - in combination of having the abortion question on the ballot... could make a difference.... but time will tell.

Lady Ga Ga is no 6 right now in the Billboard charts in a duet . Not my cup of tea but extremely talented. See her perform live. Some appalling lame comments by you about women  - stick to lame comments about right wing politics please.

She is actually a bit more than that... she is actually a very smart businesswomen.   But that... is not indicative of whether she will have an affect at election time.

No surprise there. Seems these people never learn. Disney has lost billions cling to its intention to make every a ludicrous gender-swaped race-swapped pronoun-coated travesty. And Dylan "Bud Lite" has resulted in a permanent loss of market share for that product. It's really astonishing to watch. Not that she cares so much about not making as much money, but the loss of attention and adulation will stay with her for the rest of her life as she screams headlong into the wall. There's also the farce of bulky guys with manhood bulging from their crotches competing in women's sports. Let's just hope that the wokie left has also taken things too far by shoving the likes of Harris-Walz into the nation's face.

interesting rant,  a suggestion - write your posts before happy hour

Oh dear, that will be bad... when her looks fade... she will still have billions of dollars more than you (last tour alone brought in over a billion).  (personally, I don't know her music - have not paid attention - maybe I have heard it, maybe not...).

Other than George Bush Sr. saying he hated Saddam Hussein in the run up to the war, no president in the history of America has ever specifically said that they hate somebody in public. For Trump to tweet "I hate Taylor Swift"

   Trump isn't President though .

They forget to take into account that most of her fans are under the voting age and most of the parents are so tired of listening their daughters trying to sing her songs

She definitely has a better voice than Taylor Swift. Did Lady Gaga dress like a stripper and act like a total prostitute in her early music videos? Yes, she did, she pretended to be a sex-pot and sell records that way, much like Swift, but more extreme, only to turn around and claim to be serious artiste.

. Ironically Lady Gaga actually had more talent than Swift. And surprisingly only half of Swift's boyfriends, well 6 we know about, so probably 18.

Anyway, we look at Mariah Carey and feel so very sorry for Pop divas. It's so sad when the looks go and nobody wants to know anymore.

Yes, but just look at Mariah Carey and you'll quickly learn that billions don't  make these women happy. Adulation and feeling attractive does.  But nobody would now pay to buy an album of Mariah Carey. And Taylor Swift will go that way too.

Neither was Bush Sr. at the time he made that statement, however Trump is an ex prez, is running for president and one would think that appearing to be presidential would at least be a minor requirement. But that does not seem to be a requirement on the part of many of his supporters, as his stock in trade seems to be hatred, anger, bitterness, and division. He loves stoking it.

Oh, now we have to generalize... These women are different, come from different backgrounds... I doubt you have more insight into them more than someone using a ouija board...

Given that the majority of Taylor’s fans appear to be young women I question the wisdom of those people that have opined about “ when she loses her looks”.

She appears to appeal to them through what she sings about and some good musical scores.

But what do I know? I am still enamoured of Judy Collins, an icon of my youth.😋

Who is Joe Biden? Is he a presidential candidate, currently running against Donald Trump?

You get so delusional that you have to deflect from the topic, because you have NOTHING

Just because the Biden data is irrelevant, that doesn't mean that the Trump data is.

Disagree with you on that, I really don't think there was much love for Saddam Hussein in America... Bush Sr. was was way more Presidential during his term than Trump has been on any day during his term.

According to one so-called 'Postural Alignment Specialist', who goes by Posture Mike on TikTok, Swift, who stands between 5'10 and 5'11, has a 'rounded upper back', which can cause the head to hang forward, resulting in a hump-like appearence.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-13855533/Taylor-Swifts-Experts-bad-posture-transformation.html

Rather than play politics she'd be better advised to do some yoga and focus on her posture. A hump -like appearance like a Gollum is a more serious problem for her than who wins the US presidential election, I'd hazard a guess.

So because Mariah Carey isn't happy, that means Taylor Swift won't be happy either?

Are you persisting in advertising your ignorance of Taylor Swift's songs. You believe that her appeal is to 12 year olds despite the fact that actually very few of her fans are that young. Which you would understand if you were actually familiar with any of her songs. The lyrics mostly aren't the kind that a 12 year old would find compelling. So clearly you aren't familiar with her work and yet you claim that Lady Gaga has more talent than Swift.  Basically, your critique is founded in prudery and it's foundering there.
