Well one thing hasn't changed. Nobody agrees on anything. Some say it has become even more boring than before, others say the forum has been purged of its trolls,... Hmmm... Well. Thx for your thoughts, guys.

I agree,

The moderation is better now.

Before they were removing posts and dishing out warnings over Republican political views.

Less censorship now 👍

Can't you just give it a rest about your American politics ?

Republicans  and  Dems seem to squabble in most threads

Changing pages within a thread is good, but for me, using a pc and the Chrome browser, changing thread takes anything up to a minute.

Also IMHO there are now far to many AI linked threads, both from posters and news articles. Have people lost their own innate Intelligence, and have to rely on AI to supplement it?

I use Chrome on a PC with no issues at all, so we probably have a different set-up...🙂

not really. the clear bias is still happening.

That was the same word (bias) that I was going to use .   But, of course we can not go into more details ( or opinions)  ............. for that very reason.

I understand there are concerns about perceived bias in moderation from both sides. However, continually claiming bias because your view is not supported does not make us biased. Variations in interpretation can occur across the moderation team, as we are all human.

I think the moderation is much better in that I do not notice nearly the bias I used to see.

I only use my pc as my ayes are as old as my body and they are slowly wearing out.

My pc settings are at125% and I can read that OK, but there are a couple of sites where I have  to go to settings and 100%. Then I tend to use a magnifying glass to be able to read the page.

You should get yourself some reading glasses , 50 Baht from markets .

Then wont need a magnifying glass or have to adjust the font size

Who is the Tiger?

Tim Walz, that's what Kamala calls him at their rallies.

while the quality of ai-translated from thai news is to be desired, Thaiger has won the sheer volume of thailand-related news  in english on the internet alone, search of any news topic about thailand and they're sure to have an article and someone linking to it enough to be featured prominently in searches, being linked from this site probably helps a bit.

it's probably the decline of traditional media too - the newspaper that must not be named barely has any presense or anything worth reading now

Oh give it a rest, thats true of everyone.

How many squabbles have we had to endure about Boris Johnson, and of course the infamous Brexit

Thats just the nature of todays world

Did they begin squabbling in nearly every thread ?

The Biden /Trump sides seem to go to war in most threads

Looser, thank gawd—or perhaps that happened after the recent acquisition. One will still get posts chucked (including this one probably for even mentioning it) with abandon depending on the whims of this or that individual with a red name. It is still a very biased site that takes itself way too seriously.
