Guys, do you cheat on your Thai wife/girlfriend?

Recommended Posts

I've been with my girl for 2 years now. Haven't cheated, but I guess you could say sometimes I'm a bit tempted. I'm quite sure she would never cheat on me, she is very friggin' honest and loves me to death. I love her a lot too, but I just miss the thrill of having some other pussy every now and again. Back when I was with western girlfriends in my home country, this was never an issue because 1 I am not so interested in western women and 2 western women seem not so interested in me. I do get a lot of attention from the Thai girls though, and even if I didn't, finding one for a night or even an hour is never an issue even for a bit of money. My gf seems to have this quite relaxed attitude and always tells me that I should do what I want to feel good. However, when women look at me, she gets terribly <deleted> jealous. I must say I'm quite tempted. Women here are just so amazing, sexy and beautiful. A lot of men here must get tempted to cheat.

Guys, do you cheat and if so, does your wife know and accept it, or do you keep it hidden? Do you go with regular girls or do you pay for sex?

I'm single, a major reason is i want to see many women, but i think having a mia noi or gik is normal here

Just as it is normal for a whole tambon to bareback the same pool of 15 cambodian girls at the local karaoke.

The right question would be is your Thai lady cheating behind your back with another foreigner or with a Thai man you never heard about ?

Have seen so many falang "sponsors" of Thai ladies, they finance their shops, restaurants etc...and as soon as the falang leaves for his annual trop back home, the lady goes back to playing butterfly and having "fun" all over the place. If the situation suits both, fine and apparently the westerners in Thailand don't seem to care if they catch a STD or HiV.

If managed... HIV is a bit of a non event these days.

I would think this is tolerated in Thailand more than most places.  I think you have to tell her and talk about sti prevention, limits, etc.  but I think your not an evil person or lack love for thinking like male of this species.

True, and not realizing they are the ones being played also, by local men who look at them as trash, will never stay around long, won't help with their children when the farang finds out, and sometimes end up being sent to their maker by a jealous man who spent a lot of money on a woman he thought he could trust.

French expat working and living in Bangkok, for 7 years now. My GF is spanish. Cheated on her once with a french woman (here in Bkk too). was very stupid, drunken night out. Things got "La Mancha" hot for sure, but eventually we solved the matter . No idea about thai women. Never was interested in them at all. Cheers

Another windup spam post from another new member account with only one post and a two word user name where both words start with the same letter. I know the troll who is behind this latest load of nauseating drivel. This must be his 10th account already that is posting about sleeping with hookers, ladyboys, cheating on your wife, girlfriend, etc. Do the math. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤮

Thank you for pointing that out and let's hope the mods are on it.

is it one tablet now for anti virals? i take 1 tablet for PreP to prevent HIV, but i could stop at any time unlike those on anti virals

I thought about taking it. How long have you been taking it, and what's it like?

Do you have any side effects from it like fatigue, nausea or headaches? Are you using Truvada or Descovy?

I'm pretty sure they offer Descovy at the Thai Red Cross anonymous clinic in Bangkok for a price of 1,650 Baht for 30 tablets.

My understanding is that PreP is a lower dose and a less expansive regiment of drugs used in the one a day antiretroviral treatment given to people who are HIV positive.

Truvada can also be heavy on the kidneys, but Descovy is much less so I believe.

No side effects, although a long list of possibilities. i get my Creatinine checked every 8 months, HIV test every 4 months. At Red Cross in Bangkok it's about 450 baht a month for Thai or Indian generic version. Both the same as Travuda. Been taking it for about 5 years

Sounds good. I would go with a local generic too. Sounds like a good cost savings.

But I would prefer the newer Descovy drug over Truvada. Truvada is known to be much harder on the kidneys. Does the Thai Red Cross in Bangkok also offer a cheap locally made version of Descovy? Also, has your Creatinine level increased much since you started using Truvada 5 years ago?

Also, there is an injectible PrEP drug now which is supposed to be more effective than both of those two tablet forms. I don't think the Thai Red Cross offers it, but maybe they do, I think the Pulse Clinics in Bangkok might have it. It is called Apretude (cabotegravir is the actual drug name). I don't know what it costs, but it is two initial shots spread out one month apart and then just one shot every 2 months after that. Apparently much less risk of any kidney damage.

I've not heard of Descovy although i plan to try Queen Sirikit next time to see if i can move to using them as they're nearer. I'll ask when i go. As for the injection it mainly benefits those who may forget to take the tablets, for me not a problem, so I won't change. Creatinine has had mild fluctuations so nothing stand out, i hear when your kidneys are effected Creatinine can fall off a cliff
