Thai people  often don't hesitate to be photographed by the strangers when approached in a friendly manner.

I am in Chiang Mai, and recently photographed a young pair(man & woman) in an ancient costume the park.  

Their clothing looked impressive and interesting.

So I asked them for permission to take a few photos.

I was a total strangers to them.

But  they happily said OK.

This kind of response is not rare in this kingdom.

Same applies to their  pets(cats & dogs) while they are walking these small animals with them.

Where I come from married women do not pose for photographs with groups of indian tourists.  In fact married women accompanied by their husbands would not generally pose for photos with any strangers
