Popular Post Social Media Posted October 11 Popular Post Posted October 11 Taylor Swift has once again demonstrated her commitment to philanthropy by making a substantial donation to support relief efforts in the wake of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The pop superstar contributed $5 million to Feeding America, a national food bank organization, as the southeastern United States continues to grapple with the devastating aftermath of the storms. The donation is aimed at providing immediate aid to communities affected by the hurricanes, which have left widespread damage and disrupted the lives of countless individuals. Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, CEO of Feeding America, expressed the organization's deep gratitude for Swift’s generosity. "We're incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts," she said in a statement shared on Instagram. "This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms. Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead." Babineaux-Fontenot emphasized the importance of Swift’s contribution in addressing the immediate needs of those affected and highlighted the singer’s long-standing dedication to making a difference. "Thank you, Taylor, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need," she added. Taylor Swift, who hails from Pennsylvania and is now 34 years old, is well-known not only for her music but also for her charitable work. Popular Post neeray Posted October 11 Popular Post Posted October 11 Salute to Taylor Swift. I've never listened to a single one of her songs but am fully aware of her success and her generous contributions to those who are less fortunate. 3 2
Popular Post spidermike007 Posted October 11 Popular Post Posted October 11 (edited) I don't follow contemporary pop culture and I don't listen to her music, so I cannot be considered a fan, however I think a generous and charitable spirit on the part of a very wealthy and successful person like Swift is wonderful and should always be applauded and appreciated. I know many devotees of the fake master will try demonstrate fealty to him by politicizing this, but the reality is it's a kind-hearted thing to do and her heart seems to be in the right place. Yeah, I’ll be a 70 year old Swiftie based on her “good works”. Doesn’t hurt that she’s kinda cute, to boot. 🙂 2 2 2
Cryingdick Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I donated over $10 million. It's just I never made it public and nobody has ever heard of me. 1

I beg to differ it’s entirely germane to this thread as an example of how NOT to handle a disaster.taylor donates a considerable sum to help out whereas trump spreads lies in the hope of discrediting the people trying to help.in order to fool the gullible into voting for him. 1 1 2

But what would one expect from a tight fisted scrooge like Trump, who refused to pay his workers overtime. Trump and his minions also spread all kinds of misinformation about the Biden administration making a mess of helping those who were affected by the storms, and FEMA money being used on immigrants instead of disaster relief. I wonder why they (Trump and his minions) would intentionally stoke the fire of chaos? Any ideas? Edited October 12 by rudi49jr 1 1 1

Trump doesn't know the meaning of charity and goodwill, and it's against the every fiber of his being to do anything to benefit humanity. He's all about tearing things down, not being of help.

Because the numskull has gone out of his way to make her an enemy, because he can't handle criticism, he's so soft, and so weak and so pathetically insecure, that if someone says one unkind things about him he completely unravels. That's why we're mentioning her, that's why we're comparing the two. 2

Exactly, and my guess is that it never even occurred to the cheapskate to donate money to help people in need. To call him stingy would be an insult to the stingy people of the world. He's way, way past that. 1 2
impulse Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Good on Ms. Swift, and I mean that sincerely. Binging up "Feeding America" doesn't show any red flags like Binging up some other charities in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. (Google's blocked here) So hopefully, it'll go where she intends it, to help hurricane victims.
