Houthis Missile Attack on 2 U.S. Destroyers in Bab el-Mandeb Strait, Pentagon Confirms
they need to blow the bejesus out of these terrorists, as long as they play handies with them it will continue but totally destroying them will send a message they cannot keep getting away with it. Retaliations are pathetic at best, wipe them off the face of the earth and it ends -

Thai Tax Returns for Foreigners
While we're at it, what is going to happen to the thousands of retirees lining the pockets of our friends at immigration to facilitate their stay here without the 800 grand in the bank? Are they going to file tax returns? -

Krungsri Interest Rates
I agree with that to some extent but it also depends on how often you need to transfer money to Thailand. If not too regularly then I would only send over when the exchange rate is favourable. I appreciate that this is not possible in everyone's situation and the exchange rate could of course plummet. The interest rates mentioned in previous posts are only regarding cash. I'm getting far higher on investments. Of course, holdings go up and down but I have certain holdings in major financial institutions that provide annual yields of 8-10%. No yields are guaranteed (as Covid showed us) but in good times they are a valuable source of income. I'm not too fussed regarding share pricing in these investments (unless they crashed dramatically) as I am more focused on the income aspect of this proportion of my investments. -

U.K. State Pension - probes on resources in 2025
Be afraid if you are claiming for benefits over and above the basic state pension in other benefits such as pension credits . There is a lot of fraud from people who claim hardship and obtain extra benefits and many likely travel off to places such as Thailand for long holidays. So much fraud needs curtailing. I do express concerns that the basic state pension will be means tested even though you may have paid into the system for all your life. Fraudsters be afraid be very afraid !!!
