Will Trump deport the LEGAL Haitian migrants in Ohio as promised?

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

Specifically Springfield Ohio.

Of the they're eating the dogs they're eating the cats infamy.

But that was a racist lie.

But Trump Vance have promised to deport those hard working legal migrants anyway who are doing jobs citizens won't take.

I have learned dictator on day one Trump can't unilaterily deport them because they are legal because they do have a right to a hearing. But he can still effectively deport them just by adding that extra step. So takes longer and costs more.

So do you think he will actually go ahead with deporting them?

Or will he end up being all bark all meow no bite no claw and let them stay after all?

He will probably try, and then demonize any individual or organisation which takes up their case. It will end up going nowhere.

  • I think he will send them all down to build the wall that the Mexicans are paying for.   He has about as much chance of getting the Mexicans to pay for that wall as he has of making America

He has about as much chance of getting the Mexicans to pay for that wall as he has of making America great again.

I read he can indeed do this except it takes a little longer the hearing process won't prevent it.

Great fascist optics to empty a city of tens of thousands of hard working legal black migrants.

Charge Mexicans a fee to cross the border ?

There is indeed majority support for mass deportations of the undocumented even though doing so will devastate the economy but I really doubt there is such strong support for deporting legal migrants.

  • Popular Post

I think the rapid ramping up of legal challenges will bury a lot of the populist rhetoric .

Where there are genuine social concerns about/over injustices identified in terms of US legal status little will eventuate beyond extraction of bloated legal fees.

Similarly those  granted humanitarian entry pending permanent stay or deportation must be provided legal process regardless of Trump's wishes if he wants to maintain a democratic application in denial of autocratic authoritarian dictatorship status.

Also Trump will abuse his POTUS status to disguise/deny his extensive debts accrued both as a private citizen and as a political asspirant in the hope that that status will eventually nullify all such debt.

You mean people who crossed the border illegally and committed a crime doing so ?

I wonder what will happen to all the unpaid bills for security and so forth raised by those cities /counties who provided venues for his campaign rallies?

Will they just get "stiffed", as so many have been before, or will the taxpayer pick up the tab?

If they are here based upon false asylum claims they have problems. If their claims are true it should be okay for them. The dems have always ignored, that these honest hard working people are basing their residency upon fraudulent asylum claims that play the system.. Bring in a judge and have their cases heard right on the spot.

No doubt the historical status quo of ignoring unpaid expenses will continue at the expense of local  administrations who can either cut funding for local communities or increase local taxes.

Trump's declared intent explicitly ignores that.

At best the victims will be placed in encampments indefinitely but made available for unpaid labor?

No I do not think so as the Democrats have already signed them up to vote for them. But the cats sure as heck want them deported!

He'll just relocate them to San Francisco. San Francisco loves migrants and it's a much larger city so it can easily accommodate another 30,000 people.

If the people in Springfield do not want all the benefits of immigration, send them where they will be appreciated.

No one is going to deport anyone in the US legally, unless they do something to void their visa.

Why do you think it will devastate the economy? I do not think it will devastate the economy, and if it does, the midterms are in two years.

When you reduce the supply of labor, demand goes up, and wages go with it.

I wonder how many thousand votes Democrats/Harris lost laughing at the plight of the citizens of Springfield.

It might be hard for the left to believe, but there are Democrats in blue states that actually care about the people in red states.

And a reduction in consumerism to the amount of Trump's claimed  15-20 million people?

Does that  equate to more for  less or less for more?

Little of it was /is relevant to Harris  losing to Trump.

The Haitians are not on asylum status. Not false asylum claims as another poster ignorantly accused.

This status.

Trump says he doesn't accept that is legitimate, has repeatedly told the disgusting lie thst they are illegal, and has promised to deport them.

As the legal Haitians of Springfield were such a big part of the racist demagoguery of his dirty lying successful campaign, now that he has won I don’t see how he can not deport them.

It's too public and pervasive of a promise for him to just make it disappear.

The world will be watching Springfield Ohio.

I'm not buying anything.  Trump controls all federal government branches after Jan 20.

Do you support mass deportations?

If not, you should be happy

Trump will control ONE branch of the federal government.

To the degree allowed after challenges ..as  before.

Bureaucracies dampen radical change unless backed by military .

You don't see much of anything, do you? If he's a fascist and a dictator, he can do whatever he likes, yes?

My information says he does indeed have the power to deport ALL the Haitians on the protected nation temporary status and thst the required hearings are just a meaningless formality.

So will he or won't he?

That is the question.

I say he will because with maga cruelty is the point.

Stop lying.

They are legal but not citizens so can't vote.
