Place to put a tent up overnight

I will be back in Pattaya next March

By then it should be lower season

I have compiled a bucket list

I would like to stay in a small tent like a two man tent overnight

I have my own tent

Is there any camping place I could go to for a few nights?

Would that mountains area near  that large temple be safe overnight?

What about the Darkside ?

Is there any official camping areas?

Don't camp on the beach, illegal in Thailand

The darkside will take you but very dangerous.

It's getting hot in March, buy a tent with AC.

This nongnooch thing seems more like a military camp and it cracked me up how close the beds were in their 108 person dorms 😆

they have tents as well as the dorms.. I asume your eyes are not painted on and you did see that !

Well OP wants to bring his own tent so that won't help him.

My daughter (12) was there on a school "camping" trip a short while ago. She was in a girl's dorm with about 50 others. They had a great time.

BTW - I'm not recommending this for Georgie.

What  about on Jomtien beach?

Is there any restriction there ?

I think doing a discourse through this and indignity to tent dwellers

Several years ago on a different forum there was a vlog about some of the farang homeless sleeping on the beach in Jomtien, not in tents.  Destitute from losing everything in Thailand.

Harassment by local low lifes/drug addicts.

Tents would draw more attention IMO.

I believe they eventually passed.  Is that who you identify with?

Around 10 years ago (approximately) the two Russian girls shot in the head on beach chairs on Jomtien Beach in the wee hours of the night.

Add in sweat ass, mossy bites and the attractive women who will be flocking to the homeless guy that can’t afford a room.

Ideal holiday.

But I believe we must live for a time as a "dwelling challenged " person or to be Australian politically correct a "rough sleepers"

I'm hoping it doesn't sound highfalutin

“Non gender non pronouns”

So you’re an IT.

You can always visit LA and join the campers.

You’ll be in heaven.

Absolutely shame on the USA for not helping these people.

Yet they allow more and more migrant  people in to lower the wages and help the capitalist factory owners

No shame needed.  It’s their lifestyle choice.  Same as yours.
