I'm congratulating the RTP's bold move of entering the dangerous landscape of multisyllabic concepts. May your success within mirror your values.

What's happened! Has Aseannow.com  turned into a gay site? For the purpose of gender equality and neutrality, I recommend Aseannow include some young toppless women. This is to cofirm that Aseannow.com is both progressive and inclusive. Failing to do so I will report this serious matter to the Thai Constitutional Court.

National Police Chief, Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet, activated an immediate manhunt on 22nd November following a provocative online video allegedly depicting a 'foreign gang' flagrantly flouting the law. The viral video, which spurred outrage, possibly shows these individuals operating within Thailand's jurisdiction.

The Deputy National Police Chief, Pol. Gen. Thana Chuwong, is assigned to lead a comprehensive investigation to confirm the video's origin and location. Pol. Gen. Kittirat emphasised that if the footage was indeed shot on Thai soil, immediate action must be taken to apprehend those involved and bring them to justice without delay.

The video has stirred public concerns over law enforcement's ability to regulate foreign crime syndicates. Pol. Gen. Kittirat has vowed not to tolerate such disregard for Thai law by foreigners, urging swift enforcement to deter any future violations.

Immigration police are now under scrutiny to tighten their surveillance and ensure compliance with immigration laws.

Concerns have been raised regarding possible corruption, with Pol. Gen. Kittirat warning Immigration officers against laxity or accepting bribes, stressing they would face severe consequences, including criminal charges and disciplinary measures.

The directive demands a nationwide crackdown on any similar activities, stressing accountability at every level. Police chiefs in regions where enforcement is found wanting will face disciplinary actions.

Pol. Gen. Thana convened a meeting of relevant units at headquarters to expedite the investigation. Immediate action is sought to reassure the public and maintain Thailand’s legal framework integrity.

This operation highlights a firm stance against any group attempting to undermine the country's legal authority, reported Thai Newsroom.

So has their country of origin been mentioned?  I haven't been able to find it, although I'm not looking too hard.

All those "thugs" and I see 2 machetes, and is one guy holding a slice of birthday cake?

Oh yes, less of this sort of thing, whatever that may be as the article sure doesn't mention what they did.....

Or where?

This article is so short on details. How were they “flouting the law”?

Noone knows, least of all the RTP.

No details in the report.

Recently the Thai Government was alerted by a foreign security agency of an impending terrorist attack in Thailand and to raise alert levels.

Also, one photo in the report shows a guy using a known hand gesture with index fingers pointing to the sky and other fingers folded.

Perhaps related, perhaps not.

More likely this is some Myanmar related thing. Thais don’t like them much, particularly when the get upity and defy a Thai law. 😂

They do look Asian, which means there is next no chance they will get caught.

I assume the public outrage is that they  show their tattooed shirtless torsos in public! They must be dealt with !!😄

Another crack-down but looking at it, appears merely tourists taking a group photo, i suppose tattoos = gang?

It's quite obvious they are naughty because one of their T-Shirts says "Bad Boy". 🤣

I believe the problem is that forming "gangs" and "flagrantly flouting the law" are occupations restricted to Thais only, primarily those in politics, policing, judicial and military occupations.

Nobody likes competition horning in on them !

Makes you wonder what Thailand will do when the Triads start taking over the local "mafias" and stepping on a lot of toes (or cutting them off completely).

(Pretty sure they don't like to share too much either - and will be a lot harder to identify than the "caucasian" criminal element.)
