Is there any? One day in 'n out without 1 night in Laos?

 

PS. Actually mine would be "visa free" 60-day deal.

 

Go to Ubon bus station. Plenty of vans go to Chong Mek. Takes about an hour. Then go across to Laos, return and get the van back. Don't know the cost for the van. About $40 for the Laos visa. Can also go to the duty free shop and bring back a bottle of spirits or wine or 6 cans beer.

I was looking for this kind of easy trip. No need to leave the van:

 

"Arrived at the Cambodia border (Ban Pakkad) at 09:54. Departed Thailand at border control, then handed passport to the driver. In the meantime, we waited at passport control until the driver arrived back with our passports, which now had the necessary Cambodia visa inside and entry and exit stamps in and out of Cambodia. All we were required to do now was to re-enter Thailand."

That doesn't even exist at border crossings with Cambodia anymore. Nowadays you have to walk up to Cambodia's IOs yourself to get stamped in and out, because they take your picture and fingerprints.

That is for making an appointment to then make an in person application which is the current system there.  However, from 1 January 2025 they will join the e-visa program with no appointments possible after 20 December.
