I realize this is a software design issue so probably unrealistic to request. but here goes anyway.

 

I'd like to see an Ignore List option where you can still see the ignored member's posts but are prevented from replying to them.

 

I'd also like to see it made harder to ACCIDENTALLY turn off ignore when you're just doing a Show Post on an ignored user.

 

Like a red alert warning -- Do you really want to un-ignore this member?

Reminds me of my first tourism visit to Thailand.

On a boat in a floating market and was offered a snake around my neck for a fee.

I asked can I pay you NOT to put the snake around my neck?

That doesn't make any sense.

 

You want to ignore a user, but you want to still see their posts, but you don't want to accidentally un-ignore their posts when you want to see a hidden post from a user you are ignoring, which means you won't see their posts when you want to see the posts that you don't want to see?
