The laws that didn't allow him to be arrested and returned to Thailand are the laws of other countries, not Thailand's laws and he's not above them.

Untrue. They never made a serious effort to have him returned.

That's just your opinion, you have nothing empirical to back it and suspicion, hearsay or speculation is not empirical evidence.

Looks like Bilal is home and dry then. The RTP had no luck looking for 'Boss' and that murder was a far worse crime.

  • Get a red notice out for him... they work well

They never looked for boss. That much was obvious. Having the son of a multi-billionaire extradited to Thailand is just not something that happens. He was always above the law.

No, it is not, it is statement of fact.   That you may interpret them as being the same is your issue.   There is a big difference between a premeditated murder and an unplanned traffic accident.

Yes it's a statement of fact to which there is no argument, but still pedantic in the overall context.

Accuracy does not equate to pedanticism.

An off topic, racist post has been removed.

Such a sad shame when someone gets involved with someone without seeing the red flags that are always visible in such people. A violent temper is not something that just appears.

But it is sadly very attractive to some people.  What can someone do when they only find bad people attractive and good people boring?

Premeditated, maybe it was unplanned just like the traffic accident.

UPDATE
Moroccan Suspect in Doctor’s Murder Found in Malaysia; International Police Coordination Underway

IMG_9705.jpeg

The Moroccan man wanted for the murder of Dr. Sammy, a well-known local physician, has been located in Malaysia, prompting urgent efforts by Thai authorities to coordinate with international law enforcement to apprehend him.

On December 8, Pol. Col. Prachya Tithla, Chief of Chiang Mai City Police Station, confirmed that Bilal Chefinu, the Moroccan suspect wanted for the intentional murder of Dr. Thitikan Kulikanon, known as Dr. Sammy, was tracked to Malaysia.

Dr. Sammy, the owner of Doctor Sammy Clinic in Chiang Mai, was found dead in her beauty clinic after being strangled by the suspect on the night of December 4 into December 5. Chefinu then fled, initially traveling by flight to Hong Kong before continuing to Malaysia the same day.

Thai authorities, in collaboration with Interpol, are now working to track and capture the suspect. While Chefinu is scheduled to return to Hong Kong on December 9, the exact details of his travel remain unclear, and authorities are continuing their efforts to verify his whereabouts.

The investigation reveals that Chefinu, who had been in a relationship with Dr. Sammy in the past, had recently reconnected with her. The murder took place after the two met again, leading to a fatal altercation. Following the crime, Chefinu stole Dr. Sammy’s Toyota Camry, along with two of her iPhones, and abandoned the vehicle in Chiang Mai before fleeing to the airport and boarding a flight to Hong Kong.

Authorities are now focused on bringing Chefinu back to Chiang Mai for trial. The police remain in close contact with Interpol, to facilitate the suspect’s arrest and ensure justice.

I said "deported to," not "deported from." What I meant was to have him deported to Thailand from whatever country he is now in. Maybe we could say "imported." 😄

The word you are looking for is 'extradited'.

Ask about Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya whilst you are in close contact.

Interpol Red Notices work. I am confident that the Moroccan will be brought to justice in Thailand even if it takes years.

A Greek-Australian man on the run from a double murder flew to Greece and lived there for 10 years. An Interpol Red Notice was issued for his arrest.  The Greek government has a 20 years Statute of Limitations and refused to arrest him. He recently flew to Italy for a vacation and the dormant Interpol Red Notice appeared on the Italian immigration screen.

He  was held by the Italian immigration police and subsequently arrested by the Australian Federal Police and flown back to Australia in their custody. He is languishing in an Australian prison, charged with a double murder and is awaiting trial.

A simple traffic accident, it was not.
Not that you wouldn't agree that there was much more to it than just a traffic accident. But that sure sounds incomplete given the circumstances of what he did and how he evaded and even put up a family employee to take the fall for him, etc, etc, etc....
I agree, not murder. But not a traffic accident with no liability either.
I don't know details about Thai laws, but in my mind, he would have many charges against him, including Involuntary Manslaughter.

Also unfortunately in the picture, the policeman who was killed was a

no-name / long-time / low ranker. Sad.
