I'm guessing you still live in the US then. Hopefully you'll leave them that land when you pass, as I will my house when I do for my last daughter.

It's not just the schools here that are far behind. It's also the way of life, and inferior thinking of women in general, and that won't change in our lifetimes. She will have a much better life in the US, and much better future with a career. Living here her chances of finding a decent mate who will not only support her but any children are very slim. My daughter can make more in an hour then they get here in a day, and yes, even though things cost more there, it makes up for it with the much safer road conditions and freedom she will have. I've heard many years before i came here how women are looked at here, and it's been proven ever since. I want better for her.

I own multiple homes in the US and I still believe a good education can be had right here in Thailand. And life is just more fun right here.

No, I'm buying land in Thailand.

I'm thinking in your wife or kids names, as we can't own land here.

This part is way too true ... women are definitely 2nd class citizens here.

Yes in Kid's name, same with the 2 homes I've bought here.

Buddhist thinking is where it starts, and the more you believe in it, the more you believe in what a woman means.

Being a young adult today is not what it used to be, and if you can teach your kids to be responsible and happy with the small things in life, instead of chasing dreams that for most is not achievable, you have done a good job.

There is great potential to make good businesses here in Thailand if you are disciplined, dedicated, and have some common sense, but it will take some support from family, and dedicated employees, and that's the bottle neck for most business owners. Being socially smart enough to keep your staff.

Finding decent work is not that easy even with education, you need to know somebody to get the position you want, have the right skills, personality or bribe yourself into the position.

If I had kids, I would have brought them back to Norway. The Nordic countries are in my opinion the best countries to live in for the moment. That can change, but for now, still the best living for most citizens.

Don't you think it's shameful and selfish to have children past say 65?

A Philippines YouTuber died last week,he had just had a child at 69

He admitted his newly born son would not see him when he was an adult

I again remembered the face of a old farang the image going through my mind this morning after reading comments on YouTube about that Philippines YouTuber

Last October I was walking up past Rompho markets in Pattaya I walked slowly past a elderly farang with a young Thai partner and two babies being pushed in a pram who I presume were his children

He seen me looking and for that 5 seconds he had a smirk on his face almost reading to me he was "proud" of himself that's how I defined that "smirk" at me almost like he was "high & mighty " old man for having kids at his age probably late 70's

About 15 minutes later his wife was pushing the double pram and looking at stalls ,he was standing away from her

I took the opportunity to walk up behind him , and spoke quietly into his right ear

"Get a life " I said quietly "get a life's

He turned his head immediately to look at me

He had red veins in his red nose

"Be ashamed very ashamed "

He looked at me stunned not saying a word before I darted off !

The look in his eyes like a kangaroo in car headlights was amazing , completely stunned ,no smirk anymore .. probably knows what he did !!!

At least these kids will be economical secured for their life, schools, universities or whatever they want to do in life.

Al Pacino And Robert Called Out for Having Kids in Their 80s, Labelled as ‘Selfish’

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are two of Hollywood’s most celebrated icons. They’re known not just for their incredible acting careers but also for their enduring friendship that has spanned over five decades. Recently, however, the two have been the subject of heated criticism. Not for their movies, but for their decision to father children well into their 70s and 80s. This choice has led to public backlash. Many are questioning the impact on their children and the ethics of parenting at such an advanced age. Here’s a closer look at why the decision has stirred such controversy.

What did you mean for him to do when you told him to get a life? Abandon the lady and kids and do something more constructive or upstanding? He already has a life, it's just that YOU don't approve of it. Now here you are bragging about it on an internet forum, where you spend a lot of your time, leaving me wondering which of the two of you really needs to get a life.

Given the Ops posting history, I very much doubt I am the only one who sees the hypocritical irony in the Op using the comment quoted above.

I think men that father children when old enough to be grandfathers or already have children are selfish old gits that think only of themselves, and not at all about the child.

Wow really! You seek to blame the foreigner man so quickly. Has it even occured to you that these things do not happen alone?

I am most certain his wife wanted and agreed to having a child. As well as taking into consideration about any comments that people like you would make about the fathers age. It is also possible a child was made accidentally or even deliberately by the mother. Perhaps she wanted a child by him because she loves him.. Ohh wait! You must have forgotten what love is or never known it.

Again. What dies the fathers age have to do with it? As long as the family is happy then that is what is important. Any comments made to the child or by you can be easily ignored.

Yes, all grown and doing things in a family or on their own, with children of their own. And I'm not the one who buys women because i can't get any normal ones, unlike yourself who's sexing it up with women who have been with possibly hundreds of partners.

Hey how about minding your own flippin' bidness?

Too many Karens in the world and some are men.

Make sure you bring the zimmer, don't want your hip going out again.

I kinda look it as why on earth would you want kids that old.

Babies and toddlers are exhausting. There is a reason nature sort of designs us to have kids when we are younger.

I got three kids my youngest born when I was 40, and I definitely noticed the difference in the 'effort' compared to my younger two.

The idea of babies in my 60's, 70's to me would be horrifying.

Slopping around the mall with rugrats in strollers, diapers, sleepless nights, yeah fun times in your mid sixties!

I'm now much more content playing with the grandbabies, and when the diaper needs changing, "Here you go" Mom or Dad

You should get a life. Who are you to judge him or the wife? You knew nothing when you opened your yap, and he should have decked you for whispering in his ear.  It's gay.

You must feel this way also about men who get divorced and leave their wife with children as well. At least if he dies, he would have set up some financial recourse to take care of them when he is gone. had insurance and bought a home for them to live in.

The easy money is on him not having any problem with deadbeat dads, dads with dangerous jobs, or dads with medical issues.

What does age have to do with it? If the family is happy and secure then you have no right to judge any of them.

He's old too, so it makes him feel inferior.
