Surely by now she has sobered up and come to realize the type of man she was with. Or perhaps she was really one of those foreigner sex workers that had too much to drink and began acting foolish.. The OP does not specify what exactly they were doing and any Thais account of acting improperly could simply be holding her hand in public or acting sexy to the man. It does not mean having sex or doing sexual things in public, Thais are well known for their berating foreigners and claiming inappropriate behavior even if it is only for wearing a bikini outside.

Was out in the sticks in a certain Central American country.  Saturday night, there was a wedding, and every body in town can drop in.  The guys were drinking some kind of fermented rotgut and by midnight they were literally crawling through the muddy streets on all-fours (no paved roads) and howling like dogs.  Something to see!
