Promises made Promises kept , POTUS first few days! The lefts radical response!

Vance said violent offenders would not be pardoned for the January 6 insurrection but Trump pardoned the lot.

Apparently Trump and the staff started going through the 1500 offenders list, only pardoning the peaceful protesters, but Trump soon got bored, gave up and pardoned all!

Short attention span, Donald!

Every time I see an "illegal" immigrant,I see a criminal.

A criminal who hires an illegal immigrant because they know they're hard workers who are looking for a fresh start in America and a better life for their family.

Hiring illegal immigrants is a crime.

Ironic that the criminal in this situation is a "legal" American, typically born in the USA. 😄

USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸

Funny because every single person who crossed the border illegally is a criminal.

So that whole immigrants legal or not claim is just a joke.

You're lying. 14 violent offenders from that day were not pardoned.

While Trump pardoned virtually all of the 1,270 convicted rioters, he withheld pardons for now from 14 members of far-right extremist groups that were charged in the most notorious seditious conspiracy cases. But he still granted them commutations, releasing them from federal prison, where they were serving some of the longest January 6 sentences.

These convicts were members of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, and were among the first people to breach the Capitol during the attack. Some were found guilty of seditious conspiracy, while others were acquitted, but all were convicted of other felonies.

Colorado Supreme Court's Judgment

Any definition of  insurrection involves ''an attempt by people to hinder or prevent the US government from taking the actions necessary to accomplish a peaceful transfer of power in this country."

The participants should "act in a concerted way, [but] need not be highly organised".

In applying that definition to the events of 6 January 2021, the court found:

A large number of armed protestors forcibly entered the Capitol Building.

Actual and threatened force was used by those protestors.

The protestors' use of force was concerted and had a unity of purpose, in that they wished to inflict violence against members of Congress and Mike Pence.

Upon entering the Capitol Building, the protestors attempted to and did enter the chambers of the House and Senate, for the purposes of preventing the certification of the 2020 Presidential election.

The full judgment can be read on the Colorado Supreme Court's website here: https://www.courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file/Court_Probation/Supreme_Court/Opinions/2023/23SA300.pdf.

Sorry,  they were released from prison and their sentences were commutated.

Eight days before the inauguration, Vice President-to-be JD Vance said on "Fox News Sunday" that Jan. 6 convicts who assaulted police ought not get clemency: "If you committed violence that day, obviously you shouldn't be pardoned."

Trump vacillated during an internal debate over targeted clemency vs. a blanket decision according to two insiders.

But as Trump's team wrestled with the issue, and planned a shock-and-awe batch of executive orders Day 1, "Trump just said: 'F -k it: Release 'em all,'" an adviser familiar with the discussions said.

LOL....if you voted for Biden then look at the economic mess he gave you and America...The best way to look at domestic economics is the one delivered by biden/harris, worst economy in decades. Thats bidenomics, a total failure except brainwashed bidenites who think illegal aliens picking cabbage will save Americas economy. LOL.

But, you know, Trump won the election based on the top two issues plaguing America, immigration/border security and the economy and Biden FAILED ON BOTH and Trump delivered and hence the MAGA LANDSLIDE election victory Non 5 2024.

How's that for "basic economics"...where Americans choose Trump's economy and border policies over the hitler, nazi obsessed baby killing liberal losers.

Be sure and check out Milton Friedman and try to learn something, maybe in conjunction with counseling you can get a clue perhaps.

What are you talking about.   By most typical measures the US economy was booming in 2024.   Inflation down more than all other top countries.  Employment at record levels.    Just like it has been the last 30 years under Republicans it will tank and be fixed by the next Democrat president.  That's fact.

A lot of the people on here using the trope slogans, don't care if the economy was performing well at the time of the election.

What matters is that someone was representing them, the poor of thought but pure in supremacy.

Don't you think it is cheaper for the Government to use military transport.. We are talking about getting millions of illegals sent home. That is a lot of private jets to carry them all home. I think he was brilliant to do it this way. No need to negotiate with the airline companies or anyone else. No waiting either.

When I was in the military we often caught free flights on military aircraft to go home on leave.  These were flights that pilots made to meet their proficiency requirements.

I would suggest applying the immigration laws with some judgment of individual circumstances. By all means deport criminals, and those bludging off the system.

However, people who are prepared to work for less than minimum wage, sending money to their families, are an asset to America.

The stable genius who decided to deport every illegal, without regard for consequences, is not doing any favors to Americans already hurting from high living costs.

What's the bet Trump could not tell you the cost of a dozen eggs, although it is odds on he could tell you the stock price of DJT to the last cent.

Would you say that criminals who launder dirty money by establishing legal businesses that provide jobs and income to legal citizens should be excused for their crimes because they are an asset to America?

And what's the big deal about the price of eggs vs. stock prices?  That's far from unusual.

Criminals are criminals, what you are posting is a red herring.

I am saying the people who pick your crops, clean your hotel rooms, and generally do the scut work Americans think is beneath them, are an asset to America. I can explain it to you, I can't understand it for you.

The point I was making about egg prices vs. the DJT share price is Trump knows S#F#A about living costs, which is not a good starting point for someone claiming they will bring them down.

What would a purported billionaire know about such mundane items as eggs, milk, or a loaf of bread?

And the previous multi millionares in charge had their finger on the pulse right? like Pelosi, eating Icecream in front of her $20,000 fridge during COVID lockdowns, when Joe Public had to shut down their businesses.

From the transcript VP nominee debate between now-VP Vance and Tim Walz:

NO'D Would you again seek to challenge this year's election results, even if every Governor certifies the results? I'll give you two minutes.

JDV: Well, Norah, first of all, I think that we're focused on the future.
