Foreign Motorcyclist Hit-and-Run: Local Rider Seeks Justice After Accident -video

A Thai food delivery rider named Surasak is searching for justice after a foreign motorcyclist hit him and then sped away on a busy road in Pattaya. The incident unfolded around 2pm yesterday on Khao Phra Tamnak Road.

Surasak, 35, was riding his motorcycle in the middle lane when the foreign motorcyclist approached from the right lane, too close for comfort. The collision caused Surasak to lose control and crash onto the road, narrowly avoiding being hit by vehicles behind him due to a traffic jam's slower pace.

Although a taxi driver rushed to Surasak’s aid, the foreign motorcyclist chose to flee the scene. Surasak, fortunately suffering only minor injuries, expressed his disappointment that the motorcyclist didn’t even stop to check on him or apologise.

He has yet to file a police report but plans to visit Mueang Pattaya Police Station soon. Meanwhile, he’s shared dashcam footage with news agencies to help locate the motorcyclist responsible, reported The Thaiger.

Foreign woman on the front, two fast, i see that a lot from tourist noobs.

BTW that's not Pratumnak, looks like Thapphraya

I had to go somewhere in South Jomtien yesterday from my location North of Pattaya....it is wild in some of those Jomtien streets, Threppasit, Thrappaya, Second Rd etc. I was on my motorcycle and definitely felt a bit unsafe at times, a lot of traffic on  both 2 and 4 wheels, does not give much clearance. I even pondered that Jomtien is worse than Pattaya with the Russian tourists whizzing about.

A look at Thailand Dash cams will really show us the extent of hit and run incidents here....they're never ending!

The video does not show a hit.  Maybe Surasak was to blame and the farang did not notice?

Yep, bloody tourists are disrespectful and becoming very annoying.

I love how people are always looking for justice.

I see it a lot on Thapphraya, going way too fast, reckless, but they don't realise. Faster than delivery drivers and taxi bikes, they are noobs not experienced

It was a white male riding the bike I think , but the footage is a bit unclear......

Good luck in finding them.

Did Mr Surasak have hands on both handlebars?

Probably not, possibly pissing about with his telephone, as they do.
