In a bid to find their missing son, the parents of 19-year-old American, Steven, have taken to social media. Steven disappeared from Phuket's Mueang district three weeks ago, last seen with his bicycle. His parents, addressing platforms and local media like The Thaiger, appeal for public help.

 

Steven left home on February 17 and hasn't been heard from since. His mother, Srj Snyder, noted in a social media post that he was in a black T-shirt, green jeans, and carrying a blue backpack with a black bottom when he went missing. An adventurous spirit, Steven enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and woodcrafts but has left no clues in his usual haunts, like shipyards or boat piers.

 

 

Importantly, Steven left home without a mobile phone nor any money, which is out of character. His parents, receiving no substantial leads from local police, turned to an online community, enlisting help from expatriates and local businesses aware of his disappearance. However, they noted limited awareness among Thai residents.

 

The family now hopes that media coverage will increase visibility of Steven’s case. They’re urging anyone with information to contact Srj Snyder via her Facebook account, seeking any clue that might bring their son home, reported The Thaiger.

Reading between the lines here it seems the family are living in Phuket and this lad is a 'run-away'...  

 

Three weeks is a long time though..  he's a foreign national (assume not a Thai - foreign national) - did he have is passport with him etc ?

 

He could simply be working on an island somewhere etc...  

 

Hope he's ok...  Pretty wrong to disappear like that so I wonder what was going on at home to drive him again like that - its personal stuff, but definitely missing from the story.

'without any money' - does that just mean 'cash'... or cash and cards ?

 

Could he have access to a Bank account i.e. take his Bank Card with him ? and if so, can it be tracked if he used it ?

Most of the girls are overweight, in their 20's, unable to get a customer. 

Smelly, horny, fat things looking for a young guy to shag for free, they're not getting customers.

while it must be worrying for the parents, at 19 years he is a adult and if he wants to take off then it's his business. there are often two sides to every story, possibly at 19 he has very good reasons for wanting to leave the home and not contact his family.

According to certain posters, since he had no money he is not welcome in Phuket anyway.

It's hard to rule out anything for a bloke who likes to shag animals. He is clearly very broad minded. Maybe he has left to enjoy a more rural lifestyle.

Looking at his mum's Facebook page it appears she's Thai.  

Hope he turns up and is ok.
