It's not like they force their plastic bags on you though. You can easily take your own reusable bag to 7/11 and use that instead. That's what I've been doing since they made a (meek) attempt to get rid of plastic bags some years ago.

Yes, I did that yesterday.... although the tubby girl serving looked slightly confused by this action.

No, not necessarily, if I buy any more than a couple of items at my local 7-Eleven, of any description, bog roll or not, I always get a bag that is never charged for.
