The UK government also doesn't allow foreigners who write stuff they don't like to enter or even pass through UK airports (Roosh V).

If you thought that deleting a old post, on any website or social platform, would actually mean you deleted it, you have a lot to learn.

Do Non-Citizens have Constitutional Rights?

On Behalf of  | Aug 22, 2018 | Immigration

There is a misconception that the U.S. Constitution applies only to U.S. citizens. Some passages and phrases in our laws explicitly state only “citizens” are afforded certain rights, such as the right to vote. When the terms “resident” or “person” is used instead of citizen, the rights and privileges afforded are extended to protect citizens and non-citizens alike. Moreover, protections under the 14th Amendment ensure that no particular group is discriminated against unlawfully.

Bill of Rights

Nowhere in the first 10 amendments to the Constitution is the word “citizen.” Often it is written “The right of the people…” The Bill of Rights protects everyone, including undocumented immigrants, to exercise free speech, religion, assembly, and to be free from unlawful government interference.

The only exception is a resident, comes down to more or less the same. The only other exception is that you have equal rights if you were prosecuted in USA, or on a USA territory. This has nothing to do with right wing at all in the first place.

It's no different here either, if you talk about domestic politics and i file a complaint, your ass will be whooped here too. Section 112 remember.

Shame I was looking forward to seeing the funeral of current POTUS, I think it will be a great day out.

All the articles about this are all referencing other sources - such excellent reporting. It's all hearsay from what I can see - nobody is actually providing what was found on the person's phone/computer. However, one article states "image.png.a1fa10fe588efd2824d4e1d26edb6f42.png

I doubt that he only wrote "I hate Trump" or similar if they described it as "terrorism" - then again, this same news outlet is quoting "a source", so this could also be BS.

I see you can't comprehend what you read. Let me repeat the pertinent portion.

So now you compare US to Thailand, obviously you have given up on democracy..

Too much missing info about the "French" scientist and the nature of his criticism.

The Orwellian thing is that they can demnd to go through your cell phone, but that precedes Trump by decades.

  • Popular Post

The alleged scientist is unnamed and not directly quoted. I wonder why? And one left-wing rag quoting another left-wing rag (AFP) from unnamed sources doesn't add any credence.

Until the scientist puts his hand up, this goes in the drawer marked "probably partially true in that he was denied entry, but with other revealing facts still to be uncovered".

You don't need to guess which way The Guardian leans when every article has the following footnote in their appeal to raise subscriber numbers out of the toilet.:coffee1:

This is the moment for truth
Donald Trump has full command of the US government and the backing of immensely powerful tech barons.

Both Trump and others around him have threatened retribution against the media – and his cabinet includes people who have questioned established science – including the reality of the climate emergency.

In short, this is a critical global moment for fact-checked journalism.

Our rigorous, fact-based independent journalism will hold those in power to account and interrogate the human impact of the decisions made in the White House.

I think you'll find sensible people will be avoiding the USA, as a paranoid, hate-ridden s##thole.

Expect the US tourist industry to have slim pickings. just another example of the Law of Unintended Consequences.

Boycotts don't only apply to exports.

Rolling back time to Lafayette won't help, in the US they don't remember much of what happened before June 6, 1945.

Sensible people would also abstain to watch any US media produced after 2016. There is plenty of great stuff produced in the free world.

Section 112 specifically applies to the Royal Family in Thailand. In the US, King Trump has yet to be crowned.

The terms of section 112 are also applied, with less severe sentences, in section 133, to their foreign counterparts and  Heads of State:

"Section 112

Whoever, defames, insults or threatens the King, the Queen, the Heir-apparent or the Regent, shall be punished with imprisonment of three to fifteen years.

Section 133.

Whoever, defaming, insulting or threatening the Sovereign, Queen, Consort, Heir-apparent or Head of Foreign State, shall be imprisoned as from one year to seven years or fined as from two thousand to fourteen thousand Baht, or both"

AN is a hotbed of offences under section 133.

Not in Australia. Americans are getting what they voted for. So are we.

I have been to the US many times. I have no need to go there again.

Well perhaps you should try again:

United States ex rel. Knauff v. Shaughnessy, 338 U.S. 537 (1950)

Your choice of news is telling.

What if he had Hamas stuff on his phone?

Oh looky,

Look at the difference between "could be" and "can be". Look how they simply LIE about everything. Like what rights he has.

Maybe he was one of those snide gigglers, like we get here, smarmily and snarkily making comments about violence without coming right out and saying it. Maybe saying supportive things about Hamas or the Musk attackers. Wonder why he was singled out, his anti American activities in France?

Great job DHS! Its my house and I dont want a**holes showing up to drink my booze.
