I go out for a drink or ten 4-6 nights a week.

I encounter these types probably at least once or twice a week on average.

Most of the times they are Brits, but not always.

I think it might be related to all the migrants in the UK now causing trouble, people are much more aggressively racist than 15-20 years ago. We are always complaining about them so they are always on our mind.

So some us get overly agitated when surrounded by non-Brits as it appears this lad has and it has set him off and he gave few of the non-Brits a bit of a spray.

His wife probably hears it all day how stupid the Thai people are.

While each day, she happily takes this sad old bugger to the bank.

There's definitely a sizable chunk of dozy Englanders that reckon the sun shines out of Farage's arse. This guy is probably one of them.

And don’t go in live in a country full of racists.

I guess that's why all those dozy Reform fanboys are LEAVING the UK and propping up the bars here in sexparadise.

It is NOT a joke when anyone is killed.

It makes it worse to the families of the bereaved when they find out it was not their relative's fault or illness etc  but that of a DRUNK driver!

Yes I know it's not a joke thanks. It's called sarcasm. Considering the idiocy of the posters mindset I thought it was pretty clear.

Would you say he is wrong? The Brits are known to be heavy users.  The only place in the world where girls in flimsy dresses get totally <deleted>faced.

Yes, I would say he is wrong. Otherwise, I would not have made the comment. I would consider your post to be on the same level.

Probably a bit unfair on the Scots and Welsh with all these British thugs making the daily news. English would be a more accurate description.

The incident unfolded at a dining establishment in the Phimai district after the British man's preferred alcoholic drink couldn't be supplied.

Easy solution, send him home where the supermarket shelves are stacked with his favourite tipple.

A Brit again🤗

It's sooo refreshing to open AN every morning and to see a Brit in the headline 🤣.

What is so special that these people can't behave properly and adequate to the country they visit?

Is it a lack of education or manners or both?

Sarcasm off.

I hope the new Visa rules will be extended to DTA as well and will help to prevent criminals and other riffraff to enter Thailand.👍

reflecting on tensions between locals and expats in the region.

An inflammatory statement supported by absolutely nothing in the article. As for the guy he's simply an idiot and more than likely a full blown alcho (conjecture).

In Europe all British are known for extreme alcohol consumption... and of course they make noise, and get angry when drinks are refused.. Many tourist destinations in Europe are not happy with them

Your knowledge of ALL Brits is remarkable.

Such impossible and Thais degrading behavior, damages the reputation, the reputation of all normal and reasonable foreigners who want to live in peace in Thailand. Throw such guys out of Thailand! It is not only the 'first class tourists' who behave like this, there are also quite a few foreigners living in Thailand, who imagine that they are the kings here.

Despite the accommodating gestures, the British man grew irate, hurling insults at the Thai workers and patrons. Apinan described the scene, noting that the man used disparaging language to belittle the financial standing of the local patrons, even going so far as to mock their livelihoods and implying they couldn't afford socialising or leisure activities at the establishment.

bob smith, do you live in Phimai?

In the village in France where I lived for two years, I seemed to be very popular, had many friends there. I never caused any trouble and was always respectful to the locals. The other Brit expats in the area also appeared to be valuable members of the community. I did however see some locals exhibiting disruptive behaviour, but it's their country. All nationalities have their bad apples.
