Not sure I'd agree with calling him a grand chap as I don't know him but up to you, however yes he is doing the time for his conviction amid 'murder threats' Over Prison Tensions with Muslims

Doesn't sound like he is living in the worst solitary conditions ever however he shouldn't be in there in the first place.

His human rights are being violated treating him that way because of what someone else might do - what was that Tom Cruise film with the pre-cogs that locked people up before they committed a crime?

The Home Office Sentencing Guidelines tell us that prisoners sentenced to determinate sentences of less than 2 years are normally released after 40% of their sentence is derived, which means that he should be released some time in mid May.

 

Interestingly the Labour Councillor in Kent accused of publicly calling for murder of anti immigration protesters (who committed his offence some months before Robinson was jailed) will still be awaiting trial in May.

 

Mind you, I am sure that there will be ample reasons to keep Robinson banged up beyond the 40% served point. Not of course that we have a two tier justice system in the UK, for offences which might be considered politically motivated, of course not!
