Friend in Jomtien also says he didn't feel it.

Should have been after 13:25 when Bangkok was shaking, state of emergency declared.

Up here the Korat plateau seems rocksolid.

Came home 13:20 and felt nothing.

It was centered around 19 km from Mandalay in Burma, it was a big one, a 7.7 and apparently at it rocked areas in Thailand, but I haven't gotten any confirmation yet of any significant damage in Bangkok, nor any injuries. It does look like there was one building collapse in Burma and the building was under construction.

 

There will likely be alot of damage and fatalities in Burma as the construction standards are quite shoddy and it was a big quake.

I saw another video of a condo block in Bangkok swaying at hitting the sister condo next door, that's got to make it unsafe to live in now, must have moved a metre

Pattaya never wakes up before 5.00pm, which is Happy Hour.

I felt it in Na-Jomtien  I thought I was having a dizzy spell !!

Somewhere not long before or after 2pm out here in rural Kamphaeng Phet I started swaying a little in my chair for about a minute. I though it was something to do with me and a balance problem.

So were there any reports about any damages in Pattaya or, as it seems now, nothing at all?
