Featured Replies

Hello, does Amorn Electronics still have a presence in Pattaya ? It seems like the Tuk Com branch in the basement is closed ? Anyone got any ideas ?

I found it closed down when I went there a week or so ago. I can't tell you if they've moved elsewhere or shut down completely.

I ended up finding a good electrical supply shop on Thepprasit (Eve lighting).

Outdated.

Shows tukcom Pattaya.

Company seems to go south.

Tukcom Khon Kaen was very poor last time.

At BigC Udon Thani shrunk and very poor choice. Whole groups of stuff gone.

I'm told Amorn is still at the Tuckcom in Siricha  haven't been there to confirm it myself.

What are you trying to buy?

Looking for a 220V/12V 3VA transformer for a laminating machine. Amorn still is in Sri Racha's Tukcom, but they don't have it unfortumately.

There are 2 electronics shops on Theprasit road  that may have a transformer.

Mr DIY also

Mr DIY  does have some overlap with Amorn   but Amorn had more actual  spare parts  for  aircon, washing, machines, fans etc  and electronic components that you wont find in Mr DIY   they also used to sell  audio and video equipment  and had a repair service  though that did close many years ago.

Where to buy Hatari fan blade replacement now.

Do they sell on Thepprasit?

They do now have some fan blades in Mr DIY at Tuckcom  not sure if they will fit Hatari  but seeing as Hatari is probably the most popular brand here I'd say high chance    if not try the second shop further along Theprasit with the reels of

hifi/audio cable out front.

MrDIY stock both 14" and 16" replacement Hatari fan blades 69 baht if I remember correctly

Fan Blades are available all over town, including malls like Big C.

What is not so readily available is the capacitors for fans that Amorn used to stock plenty of.

Saw fan blades in  Homepro, Big-CX.

Probably use Lazada to find capacitors.

I've got a few children.

The fan always gets in the way, kids knock them over, fan blade breaks.

It's not too bad these days, my children are getting older.

Plus that slot on the fan blade wears after time, which can make the fan a bit noisy.
