Skype phone calls are going away next month.  What is a good alternative to use for calls to the US by Wi-Fi?

Nah, no use for landlines and mobiles which people still need to call

I found out today that I can call the US for 2.5 baht per minute if I dial 003 first.  An hour-long call will cost me 150 baht. That will do for business calls.  For chats with friends, I'll use Microsoft Teams.

No need to start a new thread. 

 

Viber is the new Skype.
