I am watching this case very closely.

The guy may have been a complete moron but lets sit back and watch them steal all of his assets until he's broke and then kick him out of the country. Even the Interior Minister - Anutin announced he wants him out - such extrajudicial punishment.

If Phuket was a toilet someone is about to press the flush button.

You do you, I hope he gets all he deserves for pretending to help Elephants for his own enrichment, if its via being a dick to a Thai oh well

Didn't he allegedly slip and kicked her, making contact with her back?

Just like alcohol keeps slipping into my mouth  :whistling:

Looks like some Same Kind of that Aggressor in this forum.

Are they worrying about the punishment in case they senselessly attack the innocent local sometime in the future?

So not happy with what is happening to that Swiss thug?

I think there are a couple of things going on. The alleged assault received a lot of media coverage and was seen allegedly as a "Foreigner thinking they can come to Thailand, disrespect and assault a Thai person and think there are not going to be any consequences". Then the victim continued to pursue that appropriate action be taken. Lastly the assailant allegedly is known as a repeat offender around the area.Couple of things.

Think the media attention this received and that a Foreigner kicked a Thai that the perception may have been "Foreigners think they can come to Thailand and disrespect, bully, and assault a Thai person who is just sitting on a step"

They needed to send a Clear message this is Not acceptable and there will be consequences.

Well, its a good thing he didn't kick  a dog.

That would have outraged netizens!

I was surprised to read the guy is still around

Would have thought he had some guys in high places looking after

his interests 💰

Will be interesting to see  what happens here 🤔

Pay off 💰 🤑  or deported 😱

over who's right.

Regarding who is right, he is 100% wrong.

Initiated a senseless unprovoked attack on the innocent.

Just because she was sitting on the land that is public.

Well, I this case the rich guy is the arrogant freak, and the one who is right is the lady doctor.

I would love to see him serve some time. That would be fun.

Amazing finally found something I can agree with you on.

I'm sure prior to the kick most locals didn't care in the slightest what he did, as long as it didn't affect them.

and most locals didn't know what an arrogant a hole the man is

Even if they did, I doubt they would care.

Geez, this is alleged a kick? Normally, that's just a 500-baht fine.
Funny how the law starts to bend when it's a battle between the rich and the influential over who's right.

I take it you didn't see the video where he kicked her in the back ?

With the fuss made by the "ahem" doctor in this case,it sounds like the doc needs another kick up the arse.Storm in a teacup.

he was a complete dickhead.

Exactly.

So as those who sympathized with that thing.

Kicking the innocent local, it is not the Minor Assault.

If they did it back home, they will be undoubtfully arrested and prosecuted.

Why some calls it "Minor"?

Looks like demonstrating their sense of silly supremacy illusion (over Thais).

Plenty of virtue signalling on this subject by members who,if they could would willingly kick a Thai ( of their choice) up the arse.

Actually, it was him that advertised own crime(assault on the peaceful local).

Filmed and posted it on internet.

Not expecting it will be used against him.

There is no hint she wants all his assets or even his imprisonment. The law is the law, and she may want to show that you can't go around kicking Thais like dogs any time you feel like it.

Please take the time to read the history of the event. It is more than a kick. It was an assault and then not being truthful. The victim was not just assaulted but accused of lying and other wrongful behavior.  She gave this man, who has a history, an opportunity to take responsibility and to be a big boy. He chose to thumb his nose at her and at the courts.

Almost forgot about this case... At one point I thought the wife pulled the ---do you know who I know card...
