WARNING FAKE TDAC WEBSITE

Featured Replies

A good heads up. Nearly every country has fake web sites that charge you to submit your 'free' info. Philippines and Vietnam are two that I have encountered

How about blocking this fake website? The Thai authorities in charge of censoring almost everything we hear, see and read certainly knows how to block off such misbehavings. I remember vividly how they blocked all sites not befitting the semi-divines, the stuff for only over 18 years etc.

But then again, who runs the illicit site ripping off the infidel non-Thais .... again?

This website will almost exclusively used by people outside Thailand.  The Thai authorities can only block sites accessed in country or are hosted here.

Point taken, thank you for the correction - every day is school day ❤️

I will be leaving Thailand in 3 weeks...My 90 day will still be valid on my return 4 weeks later...

Do I have to get a new 90 day?..[ marriage visa]

Do you realise you've posted in a thread discussing fake TDAC sites and you're question has nothing to do with the subject?

To answer your question, the clock will restart on your 90 days with the day you return being #1.  You must report in the 2 weeks before the 90 days is up or 1 week after (in person only if using the 1 week after route).

Yup, ran into fake site when I was about to head back to Thailand 5 days ago.  Was a bit confusing at first which site was the real one.

  • 4 weeks later...

Last time I went to Taiwan I was led to one of these sites by Google. They probably claim they provide a legitimate service. Charging for something that is simple and free and no doubt harvesting and selling personal details, vile scammers.

Fake, in the sense that it is not the official TDAC website, which is

I can't even get this website to function.  But the fact that they have the type of payments they accept at the bottom of the page makes it seem sketchy.

Only if you want it expedited, 2 hour delivery was free.

I didn't like them asking for a home address as the official website doesn't need that.

2 hour delivery? TDAC is instant and free.  Then this site is definitely a scam.

Unfortunately this website has all the required "disclaimers" stating they are not the official website, so there's nothing to report.  It's misleading, but not a scam (according to official rules).

Yes, I thought so too. In itself is not a website spoofing due to  two disclaimers.

Still it'd trigger a response from data company, especially if the request comes from a Thai official channel.
