A 27-year-old Russian man has died after falling from the ninth floor of a condominium building in Jomtien, Pattaya, late night of 21 May. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall, which is believed to have involved drug-induced hallucinations.

At approximately 23:45, Pol. Sub-Lt. Kriengkrai Kaewpipop, deputy investigation officer at Pattaya City Police Station (Dongtan sub-branch), received a report of a fatal fall at a local condominium in the Jomtien area. Emergency services rushed to the scene and found the body of Mr. Mikhail Dolgh, a Russian national, lying at the base of the building.

Police cordoned off the area to prevent unauthorised access. An inspection of Mr. Dolgh’s ninth-floor apartment revealed drug and cannabis paraphernalia and a quantity of cannabis. No signs of forced entry, theft, or struggle were found.

Security personnel at the condominium told police that, prior to the incident, Mr. Dolgh had exhibited signs of extreme paranoia and hallucination. He was reportedly shouting incoherently about ghosts chasing him and they were threatening to kill him. Witnesses said he appeared agitated and was seen running up and down the building multiple times.

According to the condominium’s security guard, Mr. Dolgh was known to be a frequent cannabis user. A resident who happened to be outside witnessed the man falling from the ninth floor and immediately alerted security staff, who then called the police.

Authorities have not ruled out the possibility that drug-induced psychosis may have contributed to the incident. An autopsy will be conducted to confirm what drugs may have been taken, as the investigation remains ongoing.

Not in any way a common reaction to cannabis even at very high doses. I don't believe it was in this case either. Perhaps the guy was mentally ill and/or took something stronger.

  • Maybe "Reefer Madness" wasn't wrong after all.

  • One more.wasted life and yet another reason to ban the sale of this filthy drug

Not Ganga. Maybe yaba, or meth? Or insanity? Or suicide? An 8th floor fall is usually a very ugly affair.

Or he jumped voluntarily because he didn't want to fight Ukraine.

Anyway, not important

Judging by the point of impact, it would appear that he might have taken a running leap, rather than just a simple fall.

The point of impact seems to be quite far from the building.

The Devil's Herb strike again....what a useless country, always defaulting to a weed that older than the country of Thailand.

So what would a 9th floor fall look like?

Yea...  you are certainly NOT important...  p1ssant.

That photo looks suspiciously like my condo building - full of Russians smoking weed.  I'm at my home in south Thailand right now, so heard/saw nothing.

Anyway RIP

The current weed on sale including so called KUSH and many super strains of  super skunk

Type: Sativa-dominant Hybrid (70% Sativa / 30% Indica)

Parent Strains: Hella Jelly BX3 x Notorious T.H.C. x Very Cherry

Terpene Profile: Not fully known, but rich in fruity, candy-like aromas

THC %: 26–30%

26% to 30 % THC Makes it as strong as the hashish I used to get in London in the 70s. Which came from Nepal. It was like taking acid.

RIP to the young guy but then watch them try to put the blame on weed lol.

Guys, people dont just jump out of a window or shoot a gun because they smoked a blunt. Thats just not how it work.

Im curious to see his toxicology report. Wouldnt surprise me to see some harder drugs in his system.

Regardless, RIP to him. Its easy to get lost as a foreigner-expat here in Thailand.

drug paraphenalia - probably smoking crystal meth aka Ya Ice (in addition to cannabis) leading to a Krazy Ivan.

He said he was being chased by a ghost.....Well it looks like the ghost got him..

Maybe ghosts dont like weed smokers...
