The full article on the Freedom Flotilla Web site (https://freedomflotilla.org/conditions-in-gaza/) runs to 720 words.  Not once is the death of 1,200 Israelis and non-Israelis on Oct. 7 mentioned, nor does the word "hostage" appear or are the attacks by Hamas acknowledged.  Life changed "dramatically and permanently" for tens of thousands of Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, but those  casualties of the conflict don't matter to Greta and her ilk.

 

Ignoring or downplaying deaths of and injuries to Jews because of violent attacks, whether in the Holocaust or elsewhere, is a classic sign of antisemitism.  I would really, really like to ask Greta and the other activists on the Madleen the following questions:

1. Should Hamas immediately release the hostages it holds?
2. Does Israel have the right to exist as a sovereign state and homeland to the world's Jews?
3. Is Hamas a terrorist group?

It was only a matter of time and they knew they would never be allowed onto a Gaza beach or dock. They can shout death to America and Israel all they want in custody now.

The overall population in 2025 of the Palestinian territories has increased from 2022, according to figures from the State of Palestine's Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.  The population of the Gaza Strip has decreased, but that is mainly due to people fleeing to the West Bank or leaving the country.
