Staying in Thailand works, as long as you can get your money out of your homecountry, or you have a big stash of it already here. What will you do if your pension is not available to you anymore? So staying can be a risky business. Remember, no money.......... Look for a nice spot on the beach and learn to fish.

Can you link to an article where anyone in the USA over the last 20 years has proposed using Nukes?  Someone of note?

Do you really think you'll be allowed to stay?  Past history says no.  Except those westerners who were put to work on the railroad.

 

I'm also a little perturbed at the guys who relished the suffering of all the Thais that depend on tourism to put food on their tables.  Covid shutdowns may have been fun for expats, but they devastated whole communities.  And had they gone on much longer, expats probably would have eventually been served up for dinner- though not in the literal sense.
