How to transport Honda Wave Bangkok to Pattaya

Featured Replies

My friend would like to transport her Honda Wave from Bangkok to Pattaya.

Any ideas and pricing?

Is your friend a Thai person?

Any friends/acquaintances having a pickup?

Thailand post. Quick easy, professional and reliable.

Take it to a main post office with passport and green book, they will send it to a post office in pattaya or house (post office cheaper). Not sure of fee sorry as not done that route but have done others and never an issue.

The price of a tank of fuel. Hop on it and ride it on over.

Thailand Post. Ask for "Logistpost" at the counter where they sell cardboard boxes.

Not everybody's cup of tea.

Honda Wave is not that comfy long distance ride

But if need is big I would do it.

~150 km, starting at the very first light of dawn.

No speeding, 40 km/h.

On the other hand: do she/he have a trusted person to engage as rider?

Pay rider 500 Baht plus getting back with taxi or the like.

Strange as it may seem, I know a couple of people who have taken a small bike like a wave to the post office, and mailed it..Apparently not expensive and its quick.

Drive it.  Seriously!  I have a click 160, took me about 3 hours from Pattaya to Bangkok. It was a nice ride. Stop eat enjoy the ride.

We did it several years ago by bus. Cheap. We rolled it up and they hoisted it into a storage area on the side of the bus.

Train ,

I don't think possible on the Eastern Line.

It would not be a bad way to see the country, I think. You can drive for an hour or two, get off, get some food, and look around.

I agree there are better ways to travel but it is not the worst.  I would try to stay off the main expressway thaough

I think you will find LalaMove the cheapest, especially if you don't want to wrap it up like the post office requires.

Door to door, about 1000 baht presently, I believe.
