Yes, and Trump's own chosen chief of the NSA testified in Congress only last March that there was no evidence that Iran was militarizing its nuclear endeavours. She hastily recanted within the last 72-hours or so.

Maybe Tulsi will be the first to go under the bus?

No. This was sorted out already.

There will be boots on the ground a line has been crossed there is only so much that can be achieved be air power alone.

This could very easily turn into another forever war hasn't any lessons been learned from Vietnam Afganistan Iraq this could very easily spread outside the confines of Israel and Iraq and terrorist attacks on countries supporting it have now become much more likely.

This is Trump and Netanyahu's war I just hope the UK and Europe dont get dragged into it.

A lot can be achieved through precision air power.

Nuclear facilities as we have witnessed.

Many more target folders are on someone’s desk.

As much as I despise Trump, I have LESS regard for Iran's fanatical Islamic government. It would appear that Donnie has usurped the power given to Congress and shows no signs of stopping.  He is out of control.

He didn't need congressional authorization to do this. Best you get your facts right before sprouting anti-Trump nonsense.

Can you actually give an answer to your own question?

Same question of the USA... they funded Isis and al queda and various 'rebel groups' for decades, the latest being the overthrow of Assad in Syria by Al -queda, with funding and assistance of Israel, US & UK, who have now coincidenently removed the group from the terrorism list.

No, answer my question, but you won't................😂

Don’t worry about Europe.  Europe is lazy and avoids hard work on the world stage.

Another piece of expat trash joins my "ignore list". Bye, loser.

Read this article and educate yourself. As I said he didn't need congressional authorization. If you disagree then support your argument rather than acting like a petulant schoolboy with your comments.

Does Trump have the authority to order U.S. strikes on Iran?

His Article II powers include authority not only to order the use of military force to defend the United States and U.S. persons against actual or anticipated attacks, but also to advance other important national interests. Presidents of both parties have deployed U.S. forces and ordered the use of military force, without congressional authorization, on numerous occasions.

In another topic some one said something like ,this will be a one sided operation and it will be over very quick.

Do not under estimate your enemy, ever!

The hatred for anything Israel or US runs very deep and there will be many reactions from Iran, direct or indirect.

Maybe even from other countries, peace is a long way off.

If the world is lucky there will be a regime change but that is a big if.

Even with a new government the hatred from a lot of people there will not stop.

This is debatable, you need to get YOUR facts straight. The FACT that he did not brief any Congressinal Democrats, only Republicans, shows he knew he was on shaky legal ground. Obviously this will be scrutinzed in the near future.

The FACT that he did not brief any Congressional Democrats, only Republicans, shows he knew Democrats would leak to Iran.

Excellent.

I do like these good news threads.

It won't be good for oil prices if Iran decides to choke off 20% of the world's oil supply by mining the Strait of Hormuz. Not to mention other cargoes.

53,000 ships transit the Persian Gulf year in year out.

Depends on the politicians.

Hard for ground troops to achieve their mission with their hands tied behind their backs.
